Lack of food options between set breakfast/lunch/dinner times

Wow. I honestly can’t imagine a better place in Tuscany or perhaps even in all of Italy to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a well-deserved vacation. From the moment you enter the road leading up to the estate (I simply can’t call this place just a “hotel” 🙂) to the moment you open the windows of your room, that “OMG” feeling never really leaves you. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and the views are so beautiful that you could spend hours simply looking out over the Tuscan landscape. Add to that a truly unique selection of wines produced right next door, and you have an experience that feels completely connected to Tuscany. If you have some extra time, I definitely recommend trying the experiences offered by the estate, especially the wine tastings and truffle hunting. You may even discover that “Martini” means much more than just the name of a famous vermouth brand around here. 😉 Another wonderful bonus is the beautiful garden pool perfect for relaxing and cooling down during hot Tuscan summer days. A very special thank you to Cate for helping us organize our anniversary. You made our stay even more unforgettable. The warmth, attention, and hospitality we experienced were truly exceptional.

Lovely estate, nice rooms, great bathroom

No value for money. We paid almost 400 euro per night and our windows faced the restaurant. No view at all. Plus it was above the bar so we couldn’t open the window because smoke came to our room and it was very loud until midnight. The restaurant was good but also pricey. The staff was not well organized and very stressed. We wanted to order additional drinks but were always cut off. No time was given to ask questions about the menu. Got the wrong side dish, the right one came when i finished my main dish. So unorganized that even though they said they would take it off the bill, it stayed. Overall we had nicer stays in Tuscany for half of the price.
