Located in Otis, this charming cottage for $203 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. A 3-bedroom lakefront cottage. Knotty pine interior with ample frontage on Big Pond. Dock available on property May - Sept. Feel free to bring your own, boats. Minimum stays: * September - May, 2 nights * June - August, 7 nights (Fri - Fri) Check in after 4:00 pm. Check out by 11:00 am. Maximum stay length: 14 nights (two weeks) The primary bedroom has one queen bed, a table & chair, a dresser, and a closet. Bedroom one has one double bed, one dresser, and a closet. Bedroom two has a bunk bed with twin on top and double underneath with the double converting to a couch if/when needed, one dresser, and a closet. Washer and dryer on premises. Property is very close to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Berkshire Theater Festival, The Mount, Otis Ridge and Butternut Ski resorts, and much more.

Great cozy place to relax and play games with family

We loved every minute at this warm, beautiful home. It's a bit of a drive to the more well known towns, but that means lots of peace and quiet. The house was clean, comfortable (including our bed!), and we extra enjoyed lighting the fireplace on the rainy nights. The view was stunning. We had everything at hand that we could have wanted or needed. Thank you!

Firstly, i have to say that there is something about big pond that truly changes you. This was our first stay and it will absolutely not be our last. The home was stunning. The wood interior was absolutely beautiful, the decor was friendly and inviting. The home was the perfect size for my family of 6. It was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, tableware, towels, and a built in water filter which was great because we do not purchase bottled water, cleaning supplies, extra pillows and blankets, kayaks, and life jackets of all sizes. The fire pit near the lake was also amazing. The kids were able to fish and swim and hop over to the fire to warm up during the chilly times. The area itself is so calm and peaceful. We arrived back home after a week stay here and the first thing I noticed was how loud it was at home. The sunsets and sunrises were probably the best site during our stay here. The community itself is also extremely friendly and welcoming. Everyone waves as they boat/kayak by the shore. You can walk through the trails within the private community to see nature at its finest. We fell in love with this home. On a personal note, I lost my father 8 years ago and everything about this home was everything my father loved. From the wood interior, the deer heads mounted, the canoe (he had the same one), the tableware, and the eagles flying overhead. This home helped me to heal and I'll forever be grateful for that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This is a sweet place, three bedrooms down the hall, one large pine-paneled room with windows on 3 sides looking out into nature, and an easy to get around in kitchen. A lovely place to go and relax by the small lake that is right out the back door. Simple, and with all the amenities.

Beautiful view on the lake, well equipped with everything needed (not all beds ready with sheets but not a concern), very cozy and charming, with great games and books for kids (thanks so much for letting them at disposal!). Very remote and peaceful, and at a very short drive to Otis ridge where we had fun skiing with the little ones. We hope to come back! Lovely location on a gorgeous lake. The canoe and kayaks were a huge plus. For our taste, the house was a bit too dark. Also, the porch was unusable other than for storage. We had looked forward to sitting there to enjoy the lake view, but it wasn’t clean or inviting.

We spent a week in Otis, which was like having a lake to ourselves. The house was filled with family vibes and we just love the location. I hope to rent again at some point.

We love the house, plenty of room for us to all spread out, even though we somehow all end up on the porch and the deck (just cant beat the views!) . Comfortable, clean and well supplied. The kayaks and the canoe are a great bonus. Perfect location for many great day trips, Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell museum, Great Barrington.

We had a wonderful stay with trips to Jacob's Pillow for dance, Katie's for treats, and the lake for some early morning paddling to celebrate the sunrise. A great time for all generations with something to do for everyone inside and outside of the cottage.

Great time in this well equipped cozy cabin. Cooked, hung out by the fire place, hiked and xc skied next door, and took a sunset stroll on the lake. Great to reconnect with the adult kids. Kleenex at arms length throughout a very nice touch.

This was our 2nd year at this wonderful cabin and we have already booked for next Fall! We go with our adult kids and it is a great place to be together!! Since we live in different areas now, we appreciate even more the time that we share!

Quiet water front home
The house was everything we needed. Beautiful water views and warm relaxing fireplace. The weather wasn’t warm enough for swimming or boating but we enjoyed it none the less. Owner provided excellent communication before our arrival. We had no issues while we were there.

We enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the pond, kayak and canoe rides exploring Big Pond, swinging in the hammock, fishing off the dock, and cooking dinner in the well appointed kitchen and grilling outside. The house is very rustically beautiful with wonderful woodwork, windows, fireplace and decor. We loved the scent of the woods indoors and out. The cottage is set in the woods with panoramic views of the lake from the main living area, decks, porch and yard. Very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed spending time both indoors and out.
Inside the cottage there is lots of natural light and also plenty of lamps/task/overhead lighting to provide a cozy environment. Fans in most rooms, along with cross breezes keep the house cool. The main living area/great room is amazing and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has tons of counter space and cabinets. Well water is good to drink! Bedrooms are comfortable with lots of closet/storage space. Great to have a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Internet worked great, and there's a Roku TV, bluetooth stereo and awesome library.
The lake is awesome with warm clean water to enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing and just floating around. Early morning paddling is great on a completely mirror-still lake. Sunrises are beautiful.
We really enjoyed spending time in the screened in porch during the evening. ( The porch swing got a lot of use!) There is also a really nice hammock in the yard, perfectly situated with an awesome view. The neighborhood is great for walking. We didn't get to use the fire pit because Hurricane Henri paid us a visit and elevated the water level for a week. So we simply swam over it :-) Hopefully the next guests enjoyed the bundles of firewood we left them!
Thanks to the owners for being responsive and helpful when the hurricane was approaching. And for being so nice in general. We had a fantastic week at your wonderful cottage and look forward to returning!

Beautiful location with large house. Issues were with cleanliness and comfort. The living room furniture and beds were very uncomfortable. House looked neat but was very dusty and dirty. Usually I lightly clean when going to a vacation home. This time, I spent hours. This was unfair since we had paid the mandatory cleaning fee.
