About this house rental
Custom built home on a private 1.5 acres lot, this house is a gem on the Pacific coast with a 2 minute walk to the ocean beach. It is conveniently located in between Westport and Grayland, just a few blocks north of Twin Harbor state park.
Inside the house you will enjoy the sweeping view of the ocean waves and a backyard of swaying grasses from its wide windows. An open floor design and a modern kitchen makes entertaining easy. The main living space contains kitchen, dining room, big room, 3 bedrooms, three full bathrooms and laundry room. There are 18 stairs outside and inside the house leading to the main living space.
You can access the lower level through the garage or stairs leading down from the main living space. Down stairs you will find a daybed that can be set up as two beds or slide the 2 twin beds together to make a big queen bed.
You can enjoy the library of books and games, play ping pong or foosball. watch television or movies while hanging out on the sofa sectional.
During the day, you can enjoy the 18 miles of sandy beach via a 2 minute walk starting from the back door or explore Westport and its surrounding areas. Charter fishing, razor clam digging, surfing, surf fishing, summer festivals such as Pirate Days, Westport art council festival and the Fall cranberry festival are some examples of activities people do here.
Or you can just relax and sit on sun warmed sand and enjoy the view and breathe the fresh air.

What a beautiful home with all the amenities! The home was well appointed and had everything we needed for our family of four (two teenage boys). Google maps shows the property on the other side of the street from Ocean front, but this home is ocean front. There are some grassy dunes between the home and the beach so it's a little walk to get down to the water but a relatively easy trek. The only caveat I would have is that the last steps down to the beach would be very difficult for someone who isn't very mobile (I wouldn't take my aging mother who doesn't do stairs well). We would definitely stay here again. I would say the only small negative I would give is that there aren't any dressers to put clothes in. There are large closets with shoe hangers but it would be nice to have some drawers. Not enough to keep us from visiting again or to discourage any one else from visiting. We had a lot of fun. There were deer and eagles we would see daily close to the house. Watching the waves and drinking coffee in the morning was top notch. The ping pong tournaments were the icing on the cake. Really great for a family and the movies were a great night cap each day.

This is a beautiful house. Well kept and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the drop down screen for watching movies - although we waited until dark so we wouldn't miss a moment of the ocean views.The views - I can't say enough about the views. Truly spectacular.

We've stayed here for years, and the home remains in pristine condition. The views are incredible, and we always leave so much more rested and centered than when we arrived. Kate is the consummate host!
