Settled in a beautiful location in munnar in and amongst the tea plantations, felt very peaceful. Silvy was lovely, very helpful and she cooked us great food!

Now this was great peaceful place, with amazing hospitality. With views like this you could spend the whole just relaxing with book. Or go on one of Sylvies tea tour she is very knowledgeable about the area. She is also gives market tour with cooking class, her food is amazing and boy she loves to feed you.
Her family are very helpful aswell and friendly, helping carrying your bags down and up the track to taxi, tut tut area.(they even organised transport)
This is hidden gem.
Just be wary of the track to and from the house.

The best thing about Blackcherry is the hosts. Sylvi, Babu and their family are incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. We loved staying here and spending time with them. The food was also amazing, Sylvi is a wonderful chef, as were the tours. The house itself is comfortable and clean in a great location with a lovely outdoor terrace.

The room was clean today and comfortable
The day tour was v poor, 2800inr for a tuctuc ride to a garden centre and some roads pretty much. Honestly I left after three days feeling maybe Munnar isn't really worth visiting
Advice for alternative trekking options etc absent, even felt deliberately misleading to make me do more of their own tours
Massage recommendation poor
Kitchen was dirty and insanely unhygienic
Patio does not look like photo , covered in dirt and building materials stacked up
Laundry overpriced
Not hot shower
$$$$
