Hotel Nox

Although it was a four star hotel, there was no coffee or tea in the room. However, when asked the reception provided us with everything including tea and coffee.

Pretty much everything apart from the design and decor choices was fantastic. The staff were extremely nice and professional, and the place was neat and clean, with a sick right-off-the-highway location.

The design and decor were crazy modern, unsynchronized and weird. Very minor complaint

Very interesting design of the room, it was very big with big bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. Free parking space.

Nice modern hotel - Nice large room with everything throughout the hotel being clean and tidy Just a 15 minute bus journey from the front door into the centre and also has car parking at the door of the hotel Breakfast had a nice selection and also changes slightly each day which is good...

We did unfortunately have some issues during out stay ☹️ 1. My Wife had pre-arranged a surprise birthday package of drinks / cake etc for our arrival as a surprise - Upon arrival this had not been done which she was very disappointed with - She went to reception to ask, but was pretty much brushed off by an unfriendly member of staff who basically said "what do you want me to do about it" 2, The air-conditioning in the room was not cool enough - we mentioned this to reception everyday, and was told each day that it would be resolved - it never was (After 3 night stay) - The lowest temp we saw within the room was 24 degrees (this making sleeping very uncomfortable... and simply not cool enough during the summer period) - We also heard other guests mentioning the same issue to reception staff so could not have been an isolated issue... 3. Just a general could not be bothered attitude from a lot of the staff (especially at the bar) with one very notable exception in when Belman was serving - he would go out his way to make sure you were happy with your drinks and offer some small snacks (this never occurred once with any other member of staff) - So Belman deserves a special mention despite the general attitude of others) - so a big thank you to Belman 🍺 Upon checking out - we were asked if all was well - we mentioned all the above and in regards to the surprise package, they said my wife's email had gone to "junk" - thus despite there haven been previous successful communications without issue whilst enquiring about what could be possible - this making us feel that it was an excuse for the error - opposed to just admitting they had forgotten...
