This guesthouse was a true find. We had an extra-large room with a spacious bathroom, everything very clean and cleaned every day. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Got some invaluable advice about how to use public transport, restaurants in the city itself and within walking distance etc.
Breakfast was a little buffet with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, cold cuts, boiled eggs and various breads with all the trimmings. Pri Zabarju is located in a quiet suburb of Ljubljana but a few minutes‘ walk away is a bus stop. The bus runs right to the edge of the historic city centre.
Parking: Next to the building (barrier opens after dialing a phone number) there are 4 parking spaces. More spaces across the street next to the fire station.
Only one little issue. The first night I fell in the shower which had no slip-proof floor or rubber mat. The next day, we asked for a rubber mat, which they didn’t have. Instead we were given an extra floor mat to put in the shower, problem solved.

We had a wonderful stay at Pri Žabarju B&B. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive.
The breakfast was also delicious and lovingly prepared. We were especially impressed by the restaurant: The food was very, very tasty, fresh, and of good quality.
We can absolutely recommend this guesthouse and would be happy to come back! Thank you for the wonderful time and your warm hospitality. ❤️

Everything worked well and we enjoyed both the room and the stay. The room was quiet and clean, it had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. People also seemed to enjoy the bar and ice cream. Would consider coming back.
We didn't know the restaurant would be closed during our stay due to a regional holiday season. That was the only downside. Also one curtain didn't work, but it wasn't a big issue and we also forgot to tell the staff about it.

Lovely place to stay near Ljubljana! The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-appointed, and the breakfast was very nice. All the staff were wonderful - very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Would stay again!
Not really within walking distance of the city proper - not an issue, but just know you'll be taking taxis to/from the old town if you're visiting.
