the staff were very nice and welcoming. i arrived earlier than check in time and also did not inform the hotel ahead of time. however, they prioritised my check in and the lovely lady on duty kept checking in with the cleaning staff to make sure that the room was nice. the food was amazing and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. the room was very neat, large enough space and great terrace. the beach was also really clean. the shower had great water pressure and also got hot fast. breakfast was yummy as well.
the room i was in did not have an ensuite bathroom. it was outside the bedroom which made it a bit of a hassle to access. there also wasn't a mirror in the room as well. a let down too.

A very nice and cozy place with fantastic staff and food!
The location is perfect – right on Diani beachfront, very green and quiet, with no loud music. The food is very good, and the staff at Reception and in the restaurant are very nice and friendly. It’s also a pet-friendly hotel, which we really appreciated. I’ve already recommended this place to our friends and colleagues, especially pet owners, and we will definitely come back!
We were missing a kettle. We stayed in a Deluxe Bungalow with Garden View, which was very nice, but there was construction near our bungalow, so it was a bit noisy. We tried to spend most of our time on the beach. The sink in the bathroom needs some attention, as it took quite a while for the water to drain.

The gardening staff does a great a job. The staff at the bar/ restaurant were friendly and attentive. Howev is, the reception staff and the kitchen personnel showed a clear lack of caring and energy. I found them neither hospitable nor accommodating.
I asked for a big spoon for my breakfast smoothie and the response was, we don't have one. Really no normal sized spoons on the entire premises. I had to insist and then a soup spoon magically appeared. Unnecessary and unprofessional. The hotel states breakfast included, but your morning coffee is complimentary only from 7-10 am. And don't expect anything fancy. You get Nescafe or tea bags and hot water. Cappuccino or alike must be paid for... This place is proud to be ecological but the fridge in my room had an ice compartment completely frozen. If you care about the environment, you de-ice the compartment on a regular basis in order to save energy and avoid wasting it. All light switches in my room were sticky and dirty, as if no one had ever cleaned them.
