Very ornate hotel located about 5mins walk to the plaza de armas which has great restaurants. Room was very clean and beautifully designed. We were on the top floor which had a balcony that had stunning views of Cusco and the mountains! Allowed early check and the hotel organised a taxi to pick us up and we then paid the hotel. The hotel reception person in the evenings is to be commended - he speaks great English and was so informative about the free coca tea leaves and hot water in the reception area.
Those that are not able to do a flight of stairs will have difficulty as there is no lift. There is a fridge in the room but no kettle of tea/coffee in the room.

Such a beautiful hotel in the perfect location. The breakfast was exceptional and the beds very comfortable. Perfectly situated with a convenience market and laundry within a stone’s throw and easy walking distances to the city centre and San Pedro Market.
That I had to return home. . .

A fantastic introduction to Cusco — beautiful hotel, excellent staff and brilliant breakfast. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough

The location was perfect and bed was comfy. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee could've been a lot better.
It's a charming old building, but it has very creaky old floors and doors. I could hear every single step from the rooms next door and above us, well into the late night. Also, our room had poor air circulation and it became very stuffy at night. There were no windows or fans in the room, so we didn't get much sleep.
