Brilliant 2 night stay . Beautiful historic building in the heart of a wonderful historically significant village. Wonderful staff who really made our stay special. There was nothing not to like. Walkable to 4 or 5 quality restaurants. This is a village however, so don’t expect every cuisine under the sun, but a great pub with wonderful food, a great Turkish restaurant and a couple of other highly regarded eateries. The breakfast here though was truly scrumptious!

We loved the location, being right in the centre of the town, so close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful, special thanks to Emma and Jo who made us feel so welcome!
Parking was a bit tricky as the town was quite busy most of the day, although there was limited parking for 2 x cars at the B&B

I am not sure where to start! From our arrival to check out - everything was outstanding. Mac , Jo and their team went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect stay - so friendly and warm. The place just felt like home. The rooms felt opulent and the family room was awesome - bunk beds and two bathrooms! The fresh milk, and other touches like canned water and tea and coffee were just perfect for us. The breakfast was outstanding. Some amazing places to eat on the doorstep for evening too. We have found a little gem. Perfect stay for a family visit to Twycross Zoo and learn more about the history of the area too for our young daughters.
That we only booked for one night!!

The room was comfortable.
The location is good in the centre of town near shops, pubs, etc and suited my needs.
The owners don't live on site, consequently I didn't see a single member of staff from (self) checking in to leaving - very impersonal.
The furnishings weren't to as a high a standard as they appear - for example the dresser / desk is metal and very rattly when using a laptop on it. The chair in the room is too low for the desk. No power outlet near the desk.
Overpriced. I left early in the morning before the service time for breakfast which would have added an extra £14.95 to the £120 cost of the room.
