The staff especially helen in spa, so good at her job and delightful also naomi on reception, makes u feel at home and nothing too much trouble, all the staff hard working and polite. Will come back because of these people. Because of problems with noise etc in room were upgraded ,was amazing thank you..
Only things, the room we were given first very tired and in need of work, also kept awake by banging doors and floorboards creaking at 3am by other guests oblivious to noise making we were upgraded amazing room, the evening meal was odd food not very nice, but self service in evening like holiday camp, we were not told on entry u had to help yourself spoiled the experience.

Lovely looking building with superb grounds. It had a lift too which was great. The rooms were immaculately clean and breakfast was lovely.
The parking was a bit tricky to navigate, and it was very warm so could have used some air conditioning.

The grounds of the hotel were lovely, it’s huge! We had 2 dogs with us and there was a fantastic park opposite the hotel.
The hotel needs a lot of money putting into it to for it to get up to a better standard.
We decided to stay in the area for an extra night so booked the hotel a couple of hours before arriving.
Entrance driving up is impressive and grounds are kept very nicely.
However once inside….
Rooms are very dated, Lino flooring in bathroom reminded me of 1990s pontoons/butlins . Very Very basic room, throw on bed was dirty with stains. It was as you would expect for a £60 room.
Interesting hotel to wander around with lots of rooms. Staff were nice but it certainly needs some TLC,
Breakfast- sufficient for £10 per person- good value for money !
