A perfect place to stay with everything a family could want.

Everything was perfect. We left shoes there and they were happy to post out.

Great place, just needs a deep clean.

Lovely location - walking distance to Kingscote and the shops. Nice house, comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice contact who provided great info about visiting the island.

I hate to say negative things about such a nice house however I think it could have done with a deep clean. Not sure if it was dust, pet dander or what but it set off son’s and my allergies and asthma. We were out all day and were fine but while I was in the house in the evening my sinuses streamed and it set off my asthma. My son was the same.

Proximity to the main business centre of Kingscote while also affording great views across green space to the ocean. Very well equipped. Heating in every room.

Although brilliantly equipped with EVERYTHING for the kitchen, to the point where there were doubles of some small appliances and utensils, there was little order in how they were organised/stored. Locating just what was needed was random good luck at the beginning of our stay.

nothing to dislike, only small details the place may need some touch ups/ slight improvement: door frame outside looks a bit mouldy the deck may need some polish one of the bathroom heat lights is gone wish bed mattress was more comfortable

Superb

The house was spacious especially the lounge, kitchen and dining room were good sizes. The kitchen utensils and appliances were plentiful. We did not utilise the front deck due to inclement weather on day one. The deck, the lounge & dining room windows all face the sea. The house was located within 1 kilometre of the Drake's supermarket and main street.

Great place to stay to enjoy the wonderful sights and attractions of Kangaroo Island.

Flexibility in arrival time was appreciated, especially with the current performance from the Airlines. This property had everything we needed and a great outlook across the water, walking distance to town and services. Spacious and well-equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Couldn't ask for a better location next to the ocean. Great view We were out most of our stay visiting the island so did not really use the house much but it was one of the best places ive stayed in over the years. Very clean, very roomy and lots of space. Comfortable. All the amenities you could really need taken care of. Would definately visit again...in fact I was here with my family who visited from Overseas and I'm already looking to stay here again with my partner next year

The location was excellent only a few minutes walk to shops and places to eat.

The only thing that was missing was a baking dish. We didn’t have one to make a bake dinner.

we spent 3 nights - it is a 45 minute drive from the ferry terminal. The only setback was the weather at times.

Fantastic view from all front windows and deck. A 15 minute stroll to shops and restaurants in Kingscote. Everything you need for self catering. Was warm and cosy. would be great for a family or two couples.

Superb

Loved the location! Easy walking distance to Kingscote and the beach. The house was very clean with a great layout and facilities.

There were a couple of amenities missing (olive oil, salt & pepper and body wash)

excellent place to stay and have recommended it to friends

we loved the location and the view. it was very well equipped for everyday living with everything you would need for cooking while away if you wanted to do that. as we were there in winter there was heating which was great. the view from most rooms was lovely and enjoyed sitting by the window to enjoy it in the comfortable lounges.

I think could do with a new fresh white paint inside and out but that didn’t detract from our experience as the lounge/dining furnishings were plenty and very comfortable. I did find the bed a little hard for my back.

All being said and done, would i stay there again? Yes, especially now that I know what I'm in for

The location was great. Walking distance to the shops and the beach was right out front. It was neat, clean n tidy with plenty of bedding. The house had pretty much most of what you needed for cooking, cutlery and crockery. it was well priced, especially for 3 or more ppl. Had supply of the basic tea & coffee staples but no coffee pods (which is kinda fair).

Supplied only a minimum amount of towels, hand soap, toilet paper, no tissues. not enough dish clothes or rubbish bags. A small pantry staple of sauces, spices etc would've been a nice addition to encourage cooking. Sadly, that lack of abundance of basic goods n staples made it feel a little bit stinghey.

Location is outstanding. Such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay - would definitely recommend and would stay again without hesitation

Great place for family stay

The property has been well lived in and is getting a bit tired. The deck was good with plenty of seating, but all around the door were spiders and webs. Kitchen had all the gadgets and a huge fridge freezer, but the main gas burner wasn't working on the stove. Great barbecue though. The bathroom was large with a big bath but it had dirty smears on one side. Loads of shampoo and conditioner but no body wash or soap. I found it extremely offensive to have been given towels that had seen better days and badly stained flannels. For the price, I did expect better. Glad i bought my own. It would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge so we could have unpacked, sat and had a coffee then worked out what we needed from the supermarket.

It was unfortunate that out party of three was reduced to two, as this is a 3 bedroom house which would have been better suited to a family with the huge backyard and large deck. Great to have a dishwasher. Lovely view from dinning and lounge windows over the water. Good heating as it was cold at nights. Comfortable bed.
