Wonderful location and the house itself was amazing. Our extended family gathered here for 6 nights over New Years. It was great for 15 people - 9 adults, 4 older teens, 2 children (4 & 6). The house was well-maintained and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep, spread out, or be all-together. We ate dinner together each night. The kitchen tools were well-stocked and the dining table and island were great for all of us to eat together. The access to the slopes was amazing. The house is located on Peak 8 and is the 2nd house on a private trail off of Trygve’s Platter (very easy green slope). “Ski-out” was a very short walk to the hill where you could ski down to the Peak 8 base area with numerous lifts. Ski-in was super easy. You could ski down Trygve’s, ski onto the private trail and literally ski right up to the back door. Some of our family didn’t ski, so they took advantage of the very convenient BMMA shuttle which picks you up at the end of the driveway. Easy to get to One Ski Hill Place (at Peak 8 base) and access the bowling (call ahead for a reservation) and pool, easy to get to Downtown as well as Gondola stops and the City Market grocery store (Kroger-owned). We also all enjoyed the hot tub after a day of activities. Do note that the pictures show 2 laundry areas, but the one off of the bunk room is locked. The property manager is very responsive to any questions you may have.I highly recommend staying at Ski Hi Lodge. Everyone in our family loved it!

We had seven people in our family stay and had another 10 family members over for a couple of dinners. The house was amazing. Everyone was impressed by the beauty of the construction and the space to spread out. Everyone had a place to go to play or have quiet time. Communication with the staff was seamless, and very responsive. I could not give a higher recommendation.

From check in to check out, our vacation was seamless. This large home accommodated our 15 family members comfortably with extra room to spare. It’s located a very short walk to Peak 8 Trygve’s run with a short ski down to the lifts. One of our favorite parts of the home was the large ski/locker room where we could all get ready to head out together without stepping on each other’s toes. In the afternoon and evenings we took advantage of the hot tub, games and pool table. The bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

AMAZING. The house was planned with such thought (for ski season). First the awesome ski changing area. It's a locker room where everyone has their space for all gear. Forgot to mention the two way fireplace in this room that goes out to the hot tub. There is a separate board/ski room for dropping off gear and boots. Kitchen / dining room / great room on the main floor has all the space you need. Downstairs puts the cherry on top. Bar area with pool table, poker table, and another lounging area with TV and fireplace. Two masters, two queen rooms, a bunk room with 8 Queen size bunks. I could go on and on. Twenty yard walk to the slopes and on the way home, you could open a door and ski right into the house! Will definitely stay at this house every time we ski Breck.

This is the second time I've held a business event and selected this home. It's more than impressive. My client were blown away again. Even had a private chef cook the first night, and the kitchen is perfect for it. We will be back.

This gorgeous house is just the thing for a large family gathering. We had two families of grown kids/couples plus a brand new infant. Plenty of room for sleeping, eating, cooking, and enjoying. We've enjoyed this place so much that we came back for a second year! Highly recommend.

Family Vacation in Breckinridge
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were 16 of us and everyone had a great time. Our 8 grandkids loved the game room and the bunk room. Perfect for them! Timber trail is a beautiful cabin and top of the line! River Ridge Rentals we’re great to work with. Thank you for such a great experience!

Great experience. Beautiful property with great ski access. Shuttle service was excellent. House was well appointed but needs: functioning griddle, snow shovel (we had over 12inches of snow and there isn’t a shovel), plow should do driveway automatically during heavy snow and not require a specific call (we eventually figured this out). More shampoo and body wash should be supplied with a house that sleeps 16.

The Ski Hi Lodge is comfortable and spacious. It accommodates perfectly well 2 big families. The rooms in the basement are perfect for kids since they have about 8 bunk beds. Space is great, and you do get privacy even if your party is large.
Kitchen equipment, if you love cooking like I do, needs an update and more pans and cooking knives. If you are to cook for 16 people every night, you won't have enough utensils and cooking equipment. Jacuzzi was broken 4 days out of 7, so that's a big bummer if you are skiing everyday like we were. I gave a 3 because being able to use the jacuzzi was big part of our late afternoon/ night entertainment. For the price paid, we would expect a more complete kitchen and a fully working jacuzzi, or at least service until 8 pm. SMS service would be closed after 4 pm.

We had 3 Families: My eldest daughter and her husband and 3 sons (aged 6-16); My middle daughter and her husband and 1 son, aged 14 and myself. The house was such a good fit for all of us: the boys loved the basement area with all the games and the adults enjoyed the main floor area with the beautiful views and fireplace. The kitchen was fabulous and the counter space utilized by all. We also loved the heated floors, hot tub, sound system and lighting. Each family was able to eat breakfast when they felt like it and we all ate dinners together. The skiers loved the ski in/out aspect of the location! The bedrooms & baths were gorgeous and the beds super comfortable:-)

Great place for a large family!
We had a wonderful summer get-together with an extended family in the house. We were amazed that with all the bunks filled, the house could sleep 34! So our 15 cousins fit with ease. Beautiful views, fabulous kitchen, and lots of fine fixtures. A delight!

Perfect House for our Family Ski Trip!!!
First of all, the property management company was amazing - always responsive and attentive to any questions or concerns. When we arrived, the house was spotless clean and in perfect order. It was well-supplied with everything we needed and it was spacious with plenty of room for our large group. The ski and locker rooms were awesome...perfect for storing our ski gear, gearing up, and then skiing back in to a warm fireplace after a day on the slopes! We loved the house and had a fabulous time making memories in it to last a lifetime.

This property looked great online, but it doesn't do it justice to how fantastic it is in person. Plenty of space and entertaining room for larger groups. Very clean and kept up. Our clients loved it and were really impressed.

Summer Break in Breck
The property was beautiful and the layout of the house was perfect for our family and our friends! The property management company was quick to respond and very friendly and accommodating! The hot tub wasn’t working when we got there, but they had someone come out as soon as possible and gave us a small credit to make up for it! The hot tub could of been a bit hotter but it was still enjoyable! Overall we loved the house and would stay again!

Only request I mentioned was to have hot tub ready prior to arrival. This was not completed. Maintenance came and treated, but water continued to be slimy and green throughout stay. Maintenance # never answered. Had to go through guest services to reach anyone. Property is great, but for 15k expectations are higher than a standard hotel. Home owner should inspect home with property manager to ensure all future guests are 100% satisfied.

This was our second time to Breckenridge for a family reunion. There were 17 of us ages 6 through 65. The home is breathtaking, spacious, well appointed with every luxury you need. The kitchen is a cooks paradise. The entire family loved the ski in- ski out. The management company was quick to respond via text. The availability of the shuttle and the amenities from the resort were a wonderful perk. We hope to go back next year. It is a 5 star property.

Ski Hi Lodge iwas an amazing property for our family gathering. Access to the amenties at One Ski Hill Place was an unexpected extra that made our stay exceptional. Some members of our group struggled with the altitude sickness so keep that in mind for your stay. Though we loved the property I woukd never use River Ridge Rental again. They were not helpful - if anything they were dismissive when we contacted them with needs or requests.
