Property was ideal for our needs. Would absolutely consider this rental for another stay.

We stayed here for a week with friends and family. Overall we had a great time as the townhouse has plenty of space for multiple families. The location and beach access are great as well as the pool. The townhouse was not as clean as some other places we have stayed but the cleaning crew was still there when we arrived so they may have been rushed to allow us to get in on time.

Property was as expected/accurate web site description. Only knock was the cleanliness…not horrible by any means but dirty towels left in the elevator and cabinets had a few dirty dishes. Kitchen was well supplied. Easy beach access and pool was a bonus. Plenty of beach chairs. Lacked beach and kitchen towels, and very limited hangars in the closets - recommend stocking or advising renters to bring their own. Had an issue with the back deck door handle coming loose - maintenance was quick to respond. Overall great rental.

Fantastic location. Beach is beautiful, close to Carolina beach (more stuff to do), pool is perfect (just have to share with other duplex). Size is great - we had 2 full families + our nanny (5 adults, 5 kids ages 7 mo to 6 yrs) with plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. Downsize is the cleanliness and random broken pieces of furniture. It felt like the reported cleaning service didn’t come between tenants. The floor was covered in sand, kitchen was filthy, bathrooms disgusting, coffee pot was dirty and with grounds, and all the dishes dirty but in the cabinets. Multiple chairs broken, broken ladder on one of the bunks (so unsafe!), and cabinet in kitchen hanging by the hinges. We had a great time but upkeep needs to be improved.

Would have been better if the elevator worked. My wife who is 74 with Parkinson's disease and cancer and confined to a wheel chair was limited to one floor of the house. Other than that it was a nice house with a view of the beach my family enjoyed.

We had a great time although there are a few points to make note of for future guests. Toilets and showers were not clean. The thermostats were NOT adjustable and it was HOT! Also, the back door to the lower deck was incredibly hard to close and open. House wasn’t equipped with towels or beach chairs. The house adjacent with shared pool was our party as well and it was a lot nicer, cooler and had plenty of beach chairs and towels. Overall would probably pick the property next door to this one.

There are plenty of comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Easy access to the beach which we enjoyed every day. Rented surfboards from a local place for $10/day. Brought fishing pole to fish right there at the beach. Also got the $10 fishing license. Great time.
The house was all we could of ask for. The grandkids would get in the pool in the morning, beach after lunch and back to the pool in the afternoon. We all had a very good time.

Best Vacation Ever

First family beach trip
This was our first trip with both of our married daughters and their husbands plus one 18 mo old grand child
The house was wonderful and the three levels allowed for some separation and privacy
Beach access was super easy and there were chairs and umbrellas available

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable
We loved staying here! Plenty of room and the amenities were fantastic! Our kids enjoyed bouncing from the beach to the pool throughout the day and daily walks up and down the beach looking for sea shells was fun for everyone. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy daily, bait shop and groceries are close and an evening out to the restaurants and bars were close as well. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you Carolina beach for a great family friendly holiday.

Beautiful views!
Beautiful views from the deck and only steps to the ocean. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, we were a group of 7 to 8 with some visitors during the day and we still could have gone a week without doing dishes if we wanted to. Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags were well stocked, much better than most rentals we have stayed in. The location of the house was perfect, Right in between the Carolina Beach boardwalk and the Kure Beach pier.
Communication with the owners was very prompt during our stay.

Awesome beach house
We really enjoyed our stay here! For a family of 5, the house was great. We stayed for 8 weeks while repairs were done on our home in Wilmington. The owners were very helpful and responsive. If we had any issues or anything needed to be done at the house, they took care of it very quickly. The kitchen is large and very well stocked. It was nice to have the beach access right there, and the pool will be great in the summer. We would love to return to this house!

Wonderful...despite Hurricane Florence!
Unfortunately, we were only able to spend 3 nights (of our 7 night vacation) at this beautiful property due to the mandatory evacuation of the area. We loved it while we were there, though and highly recommend it to others. We were traveling with 2 of or adult children and their spouses and our 3 granchildren (2, 2 and 3 months old). The house was well equipped in every way! The kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need. We had groceries delivered twice through Instacart (Publix) and it was flawless! Do it! Who wants to shop for grocries while you're enjoying the beautiful beach, sparkling pool and perfect home?! Catie (and her husband) were fantastic...very prompt answering messages and even came to the home to address a small issue! It was a pleasure meeting them both! We didn't get to venture out and about but can't wait to come back to Ocean Daze in the upcoming years for a redo! This time for a full week!!!

Nice beach and large beachfront duplex
Plenty of room, a well-equipped kitchen, very nice pool shared with B-side. Perfect for our extended family gathering with lots of small grandchildren. Looking forward to returning!

The first time vacation for my family. The house and the beach made it perfect.
My family had never taken a vacation together. The beach house and the beach made it perfect. The house was the right fit for the 10 of us. Proximity to the beach was wonderful. Everything we needed was somewhere in the kitchen, linens were very soft and nice, I wasn’t sure about beach toys so brought a few, but there were plenty there. There was an extra refrigerator in the garage. And, the sunrise from the balcony off the master bedroom was amazing. Waking up early on vacation was well worth it. Thank you Catie for answering all the questions for this first time renter. Your help was appreciated.
