About this house rental
Welcome to the Lil Red House your very own little piece of paradise. This recently renovated beachfront home is literally footsteps from the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. The property is unique in that it has its own natural salt water pool carved out in front of the home where you can snorkel from the home to beautiful coral reefs just a few hundred feet away. The home itself is the definition of "open concept" with a very large living room and kitchen that keep the ocean the focal point. South Palmetto point is an excellent central location to make the most of your Eleuthera vacation. Situated approximately in the middle of the island is ideal whether you want to venture south to Lighthouse beach or the head north towards Harbor Island. Located approximately 8km from Governors Harbor ensures you have access to all amenities. Most importantly is the very close proximity to some of the best beaches in the world, you can enjoy your own private beach right outside your door, head over to "Ten Bay" beach just down the coast or head over to the Atlantic side beaches. All of this in less than a 10 minute drive from the home gives you a great choice of beaches to change things up or plan your day with the direction of the wind.

My husband and I have been to Eleuthera six years in a row. We honestly believe this is one of our favorite houses. The location is wonderful and so central to everything that we like to do and places to eat. You cannot beat the view as it is right on the water. The price is so reasonable compared to the value of this property. The neighbors were close, but we never saw or encountered anyone. The beach is rocky, but there’s places to wade your way in. The home offers a kayak, which we used to explore up and down the area and it also had snorkeling equipment, which we used several times, but especially in front of the property. Communication with the owners and Phil was great. We never had any issues at all, so communication was limited, but they were readily accessible if needed. The home provided tons of towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, and backpack cooler. It had a washer/dryer, and everything you need for a cozy, homie stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! If you are reading this and considering this home, just book it. It’s awesome.

Lil Red House was just perfect for the 2 of us! Wonderful tidal pools in front of the cottage made for great shelling and kayaking as water was calm. Well stocked kitchen with new appliances. Gas Grill was a bonus! Central location. Island Farmers Market was few minutes south. GH was easy ride north. Visited Cathedral Caves and Ocean Hole . Wild Orchid in Rock Sound was delicious. Tippy's is a must! Pineapple Players Lounge in GH has best shrimp & fish tacos and wonderful drinks! Thanks, Jake and Phil for a wonderful vacation. Eleuthera is magical!
