Good location and the place has character.
Things are unnecessarily complicated in this place and the noise is a problem. You get a huge amount of keys, I'd say the whole bunch has at least 3-400 grams, it's ridiculous. I think half I didn't even use and they added a key chain too as if you didn't had enough metal in your pocket to make noise when you walk. Then they have this energy saving thing where you have to plug the key to get the lighting working. But you also need the keys to lock the door from the inside so you either fidget in the dark or use your phone for light. Then the hot water is timed (as others said) but this is not said anywhere in a visible space. And regarding the noise, others have mentioned it but I actually like some street noise so I didn't think it'll be an issue. The problem is that you also hear everything that happens inside the shared flat and this is very annoying when people have loud phone conversations or come and go at night.

Very central location in Palermo. Very clean room, nice apartment. Secure space. Air con worked well. Host very apologetic about problems we experience during check-in.
Check-in was not very good unfortunately. There is no reception on site for check-in. Accessing the property is all done remotely using messages / phone-calls. We had difficulty contacting the property manager on arrival. No answer via messaging or phone call for about 45 minutes. The host explained that this was due to a mobile phone / wifi malfunction. If the property were to improve their check-in process perhaps using a secure key-pad / pin entry system, the overall score would be much higher.

Very good location close to tourist attractions and restaurants. It is a good base for exploring the city.
The room was clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful host.

I did not stay at the property but was directed to a different door nearby at the last minute. The neighborhood was the same though, lots of shops cafes and thankfully located a couple of blocks away from the tourist entertainment ghetto
5 flights of narrow broken stairs. Beautiful city view in the posted ad, but I got to look at rubbish thrown on the adjacent roof.
