The picturesque location and view was amazing. At night with the windows shut I heard no outside noise. I stayed for 1 night and arrived by train. For such a short time and ease to get to all the beautiful city as well as the station this was perfect. Very easy check in ( access codes were sent). Lovely, accommodating staff. Room clean and I had all that I needed for a comfortable stay. I was lucky to have a balcony room La Cala, which had plenty of space and lovely furnishings.
I found finding the property easy enough, street access is a brown door, with a keypad next to a ceramic shop. There’s a clear sign as well advertising the B&B.
I’m not much of a breakfast person but there was a small choice of pastries and juice and coffee to have before heading out for a wander. I would highly recommend.

Perfect stay at Dimora del Massimo! Antonella and Giovanni were wonderfully warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the Teatro Massimo. Breakfast was a classic Italian spread of sweet pastries and coffee. The location is steps from all the major sights and just a short walk to a parking garage.
Typical Italian breakfast. Some fresh fruit or local delicacies would elevate it.

The room was spacious, the location is great, the housekeeper was kind and efficient, patient and lovely, she knew our coffee order after only a day, and treated us really well
The building was in terrible conditions, it had barely any windows, the stairs had loose wires all over the walls, it seemed the building was under construction and that made it quite uncomfortable. The lift is too small for 2 people, and we couldn’t work it out.
