Everything was wonderful! The apartment was spacious, beautifully-decorated, very comfortable. Comfy bed, little walk-in closet. Good-size refrigerator and cooking equipment in kitchen (we were able to cook in one night). Nice shower, bidet. Excellent wifi. Location in historic area, close to shopping and restaurants, cultural sites/venues, city bus line (easy access via 124 route to Centrale Station and thence to airport). Host was VERY responsive to requests and asked each day if there was anything else that could be done. Breakfast offerings tasty, including excellent coffee and warm fresh crescent rolls, among other things. Super security with triple-protected access to the space. Superb value; would definitely stay again if were visiting in Palermo.
There was literally nothing that we did not like. This offering is a real gem. We first learned about it from our travel agent and then found it on Booking.com. We found no flaws.

Great location, nice room, lovely staff
Walls and roof were thin so lots of noise from flushing chains and running water.
Air conditioning smelt like sulphur / eggs sometimes when it was on
