We really enjoyed our stay at Bairro Alto Guesthouse! The location was definitely the highlight for us. We didn’t have a car in Lisbon, and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars and attractions nearby. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our stay. We also really appreciated having lockers available to store our luggage, which was extremely convenient and allowed us to continue exploring the city without carrying our bags around. Being right in the heart of Lisbon made everything so easy and convenient. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re visiting without a car!
The only thing we would have appreciated was a small fridge in the room to keep drinks and water cold, especially for the next day.

Location was great, although noisy at night. Room nicely decorated. Easy check-in check out.
Would be nice to have a coffee machine, kettle and glasses.

comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom, multiple lamps
there was mold on the walls, it was very humid in the room, very loud neighbourhood, could hear everything from the corridor and the smell inside was unpleasant, there was no storage for clothes
