endroit exceptionnel, plein la vue, piscine superbe et calme. Un lieu superbe au coeur de la vallée ITRIA et proche de la mer ! nous y étions en vélo, idéal pour tout rejoindre ! adresse a garder pour un autre séjour tant la région est attachante.

I loved how Masseria Montanaro manages to be both deeply authentic and incredibly comfortable. The trulli and the main masseria are beautifully restored and cared for in every detail, so you feel immersed in the real Puglia rather than in something generic or touristy.
The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful: you’re surrounded by countryside, olive trees and the silence of the Valle d’Itria, yet you’re only a short drive from Cisternino and all the nearby towns, which makes it a perfect base for exploring. I especially appreciated the pool area, which is spotless, well maintained, and never overcrowded, so it becomes a genuine place of relaxation rather than just a photo opportunity.
The hospitality is another highlight. Luisa and her family create the kind of welcome you rarely find: warm, personal and attentive without ever being intrusive. Luisa even brought us fresh figs and grapes from the garden, which felt like a very generous and thoughtful gesture and captured the spirit of the place perfectly.
Finally, the trulli apartments are spacious, tastefully furnished and very comfortable, with good mattresses and pillows, functional kitchens and pleasant outdoor areas for eating or simply sitting in the evening light. Sleeping there, in the quiet of the countryside and under the stone cones, is an experience in itself. Altogether, Masseria Montanaro is one of those places where you immediately start planning your return as soon as you leave
