The location.

It was a very pleasant stay. The host Uberto was very nice and gave many recommendation on what to do and where to find good restaurants. The breakfast was also a highlight. The trullo itself had even a small bathroom and was very cozy.

Umberto is very outgoing. We enjoyed conversing with him very much. Breakfast was excellento. The location between olive and almond trees is magical.
It can still get pretty cold at night in May. The trulli is not heated so bring your fat pj's.

First of all, I can’t make a review of my stay because I had never made it there due to the very hard communication with the owner. I feel bad for give such rating and have to write this review but since the owner has never replied to me again (2 weeks since my intended stay). I understand most of trulli or masseria stay can be hard to reach by public transport but when I reach to the owner to look for any info and said I don’t even mind to pay for the taxi. I just want to know roughly the price range and if he may have recommendation. First, he only say ‘no. I don’t know’ then he said ‘best I can give the taxi contact that we usually call just in case of necessity’ after that NOTHING until next day all he said is ‘what time is your expected arrival’. Since this is non-refundable booking, it did frustrate me how the owner which I expect to know better of local surroundings didn’t show much effort to help or give any more info. I thought it’s a language problem but I’ve tried google translate and even asked for my other local host to help talk in Italian, I asked if he would be so kind to maybe try to refund even just a bit (after seeing his least effort to help me to get there) but he only said I’ll see what I can do then no more reply. I just wished there was better communication and professionalism from the host side.
