The grounds are stunning, the pool was amazing and it was lovely to have the farm animals nearby, the breakfast was delicious very high quality and great selection
Although they allow kids, it’s really not set up for kids. Breakfast didn’t start until 8am and dinner not until 7pm which made it tricky with bed times. For most of our stay it was mostly couples and we felt quite conscious of having a noisy toddler and baby with us as it’s very quiet there and a romantic setting - it had more of an adults only vibe.
We had booked a family room and on arrival the sofa bed was not set up so I asked it to be set up and was told there would be an extra charge to use it! They said that they assumed our son would sleep in our bed with us which was odd and if that were the case I would have saved money and just booked a double room rather than a family room. They waived the fee as I was pretty outraged but it wasn’t a great start to the holiday after a stressful and long day of travel. The staff were however very pleasant and we didn’t have any other issues.

The staff and service was amazing, the breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar/gelato station! The beautiful room and building/s of the Masseria, the pool area and small walks around the gardens, and the location was good for taking the car on day trips
