Situated in Virgin Islands (U.S.), this attractive condo for $495 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. - newly remodeled bathrooms -5 minute drive from Red Hook that includes restaurants, grocery stores, a ferry to St John, and other adventures - a delicious beach bar, coffee house, pizza shop, fine dining and other restaurants a short walk from your front door... live music @ the Beach Bar some nights - a retreat from the bustle of everyday life - Right on Sapphire Beach - Large outdoor patio - Pool on property - Condo comfort, but more private than most complexes with unique side yard and patio area We are back! We had a business love this unit so much, that they long termed it for over a year! But sadly their assignment on island has come to an end and that means it is back on the market for our short term guests to enjoy it again! Come stay at this welcoming unit and enjoy our beautiful beach while sitting in a complex beach chair, sipping a drink from the Beach Bar, and enjoying the breeze and the view of St John. The beach is calling! This is a 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath unit right on the beach! You can enjoy the ocean sounds and, during the right time of year, view the sunrise right from the master window. Large semi-private porch with lots of room to lounge and eat while enjoying the ocean breeze. This includes views of the ocean from almost every room, including the kitchen where you can even watch the kids play on the beach while making dinner (Kitchen equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances). This is a MUST SEE!... Even has TWO kitchens! There are many things to do on St Thomas & St John during your stay. Starting with a short walk down the beach to the Sapphire Beach Bar (about 2 minute walk) to enjoy the live music played there on the weekends or grab a burger for lunch/dinner. From there you can catch a safari or jump in your rental car to head into nearby Red Hook where you can find a variety of restaurants and shops; as well as a grocery store (5 minutes away). If you want something more adventurous then book a charter, feed the tarpon, or go out on a dive with a local dive shop; all located in Red Hook. There are all kinds of adventures awaiting you! You can even take a zipline tour through the treetops of St Thomas. Looking for a different pace? Take the car barge or people ferry, from Red Hook, over to St John for the day. On St John there is hiking, diving, snorkeling, sugar cane mill ruins, restaurants, shops, and so much more. A large portion of St John is a national park. So, it is a different kind of beauty than St Thomas. It is a luxury to stay on St Thomas, where everything is so much more accessible, but still be able to run over to St John, for the day, to enjoy the quiet tranquility. This unit is in a great location to so many fun things. It will not disappoint! * Primary Bedroom has a King size bed + 2 twin Murphy beds. Bedroom #2 provides a king bed. Bedroom #3 boasts a queen bed ** All bedrooms have TV's equipped with Roku *** Pool located on property. **** St Thomas has been working on repairing and improving since Irma and Maria hit our island. There seems to always be project going on around the island. There may be improvements going on during your stay; though we will alert you if any are going on with this unit in-particular. ***** Sargassum grass is unpredictable! If it is going to make an appearance it is most likely during the summer time/hurricane season. This and the clean up process is out of our control & just because it is on the beach today does not mean it will be on the beach the next day. The island works hard at getting it cleared as quickly as possible. A dumpster is located near the unit patio during times of Sargassum clean up.

Worth every penny! I have to say this is the most my family and i have ever felt at home away from home. The cleanliness and organization of every aspect of this home was phenomenal. I don't want to stay anywhere else when i come to visit St.Thomas.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! We had 4 adults and 6 teenagers and were very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed, was spacious, clean and the patio was a great feature. The host and property manager were very accommodating and provided great recommendations for restaurants, car rentals, etc. The location is the best on the beach! We hope to make it back again and had an amazing vacation!

We had a fantastic vacation, and this was an incredible location. We were just steps from the beach, fantastic views, cool and private side patio with views of the ocean, a short walk down the beach to a fine restaurant (Sea Salt), bar and grill. Beautiful sand beach and nice snorkeling - we saw lots of fish and sea turtles. Beach lounge chairs provided. Saltwater swimming pool. The unit was well provisioned with kitchen appliances, towels, and TV's throughout. We couldn't have asked for a better location or unit. Fantastic service by the unit manager, too! We appreciated the little touches that made us welcome.

This is our second trip to this condo. We originally had a different unit booked in the same complex. As soon as this unit became available, we reached out to switch (same owner for both units). This is the best unit in the complex, it has an awesome patio, and the best part is how close it is to the beach/water only a few steps. This complex may show its age in a few ways, but this unit is nicely updated with newer bathrooms and kitchen. What sells us on returning here is the beach, the water, and the proximity to food and drink (Saphire Beach has 3 restaurants and 2 bars only steps down the sand). The food is great, and the drinks are good.
We love it here and will likely be returning for our next beach vacation.

Upon our arrival, we had a warm reception from Jenny, the property manager. She gave us a complete overview of the condo and the facility. We were two dozen steps from our front door to beautiful Sapphire Beach! This was our first time in the Virgin Islands and this property made for an amazing and memorable stay. We would absolutely book here again!

For sure this is the best location on Sapphire Beach. From the master bedroom you are seeing the waves come in. It also has a perfect private side patio for family to gather and BBQ. It has been updated a little and decorated very cute, but it is a bit old and rusty inside. Julie (who is a wonderful host) says she has plans to update the unit sometime soon which would make it an awesome unit once that happens. Julie has two units and our family stayed in both which was a perfect combination for our adult family of six. We enjoyed the smaller newer unit in the back and all the family gatherings on the side patio happened in the front unit by the beach. Loved our stay and would do it again.

Not crowded, great snorkeling, beautiful view, free chairs and beach attendant to help with anything, food and drinks just a short walk down the beach, Red Hook is close for groceries/shopping/restaurants. Spectacular view and very convenient to groceries and eating.
We had 12 family members , 4 grandkids and 8 adults stay at 2 condos in Crystal Cove. Julie was an amazing manager and answered all our questions before and during our stay. We loved being in the 3 bedroom next to the beach. The other 4 adults and one 5 year old stayed at the other 2 bedroom condo that Julie also managed. She even put a single mattress on the floor for my 5 year old grandson. There were sand toys and spices for cooking. We loved having a washer and dryer. My kids liked going to the coffee bar at Sapphire beach and eating there in the afternoons. This is a great setup for kids being close to the beach. We’ll be back in the future and will definitely stay in Crystal Cove! Thanks Julie!

Great Accomodations
Unit is the best location within a large condo complex. Great ocean views and beach is a short walk from the front door. Nothing fancy about the unit but very functional and clean. Very nice host who met us in the parking lot and showed us the unit. I would definitely stay there again.

A True Gem on St. Thomas
Host was very responsive and made sure our stay was flawless. Property is beautiful, roomy, and one of the best properties we ever stayed at. Clean and the private patio is fantastic. This property has the best location -literally steps to the beach and the pictures on the internet are exactly how the property looks. We stayed from 12/11-12/18/21 to celebrate Christmas with family members. My husband and I were also celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The condo was spacious and the hosts were fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Condo as pictured - BEWARE of sargassum cleanup!! What a smelly mess directly in front of rental!
My family of 5 stayed in the property end of July when there was a bad few weeks of sargassum washing into the cove. I know that the sargassum was not the fault of the management. HOWEVER they should have let us know that the sargassum collection/clean up for the entire cove was located right in front of the condo with an enormous orange construction dumpster directly in front of this unit and its beautiful view and patio! Beware - if there is sargassum at all going on during your vacay dates - you will have NO view, a bobcat constantly beeping and a terrible smell making the patio unusable. You will be affected greatly. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when we walked up and saw the enormous orange dumpster in front of the door after traveling with kids for 10 hours. Luckily we were heading over to STJ and this was a short stay. IF it were my final destination, I would have been devastated....I don't mean to bash the unit because everything inside was as depicted in the photos. Bathrooms are in need of updating but I understand this is a difficult project on island. Just very disappointing that we were not given any warning of the situation nor offered any compensation at all. My perception is that they were keeping the area nice and beautiful for the other condo complex (Sapphire Beach Resort) and didn't care at all about the residents of Crystal Cove. For the positives - A/C worked great, location was good, washer/dryer was nice to have and lots of towels. Thanks for reading this far!

One minor frustration as adult women over 60 was the main patio door was rather hard to open and usually required both hands. That was sometimes frustrating when attempting to carry anything other than oneself and a towel outside. On a positive note we all left with stronger arms 😉 and a desire to come back again ASAP.

Best Unit / Best Beach
Everything was better than expected. Steps from crystal blue water with great snorkeling. The unit was clean, roomy and ready for our arrival. With two teenage boys it was nice for everyone to have their own bathroom. Plenty of towels, which is a bigger deal than you expect until you snorkel three times in one day. Having a washer and dryer was a big bonus. The manager was on sight and luckily we didn’t need any help but she answered a lot of questions that took off the pressure of learning by mistake about local dos and donts. Can’t say enough good things about the unit or Julie. And of course St Thomas and St Johns were phenomenal.

Family Vacation
This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The property was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos and description of the unit. The large private patio provided a great place to relax in the mornings and early evening. Once the sun goes down though, the mosquitoes come out so bug spray is necessary as is the case all over the island. Our 3 grandchildren, who are 4, 3 and almost 2 , enjoyed the sand toys and tubes that were available to use. There was also a tree swing steps away from the patio which the kids loved. Julie was a great host and also accommodated a couple of special requests we had. This was a perfect rental for our family vacation as it fit all of our needs.

Fantastic beach-front get-away
Enjoyed a stay at this property the last week of June and it was spectacular on all counts! Julie's communication was always prompt (almost immediate!) and super helpful. She met us on arrival and gave us a quick overview of the place as well as great tips for local restaurants and sites - she even hustled back with a large juice pitcher for frozen cocktails when we couldn't find the one in the unit! We were a group of 3 adult couples celebrating 50th birthdays. Each couple had access to a full bath and plenty of privacy in super spacious and comfy bedrooms yet we all really enjoyed the common areas. TWO full and well-stocked kitchens were a big bonus and the private patio overlooking the water is AMAZING! We gathered there every morning for coffee and every afternoon for happy hour. It easily sits a dozen or more and we hosted a number of group dinners where friends staying in other units came over to join us. Beautiful Sapphire Beach is literally steps from your front door and the convenience of this is fantastic. If your group has different ages or preferences in travel schedules, everyone just rolls out of bed whenever they want to join others at the beach - no stress of coordinating everyone to get in cars and shuttle somewhere off site! Same for meals and beverages - those of us who preferred to eat-in would make a little something at the house while others took the quick walk to the little beach bar right on site - where food was really surprisingly great! Sapphire Beach also has plenty of white sandy areas for swimming as well as coral reefs on either side where the snorkeling was incredible - so many beautiful fish! I believe this is the ONLY 3BR property in the area and just perfect for a group of friends or family - and the nice part of the Sapphire Beach area is that there are 3 complexes all within walking distance where many other units are available to accommodate different budgets and group sizes. Location is the East End of St. Thomas - less than a 5 min ride one way to Red Hook with stores, restaurants, and the ferry for those that prefer to do a little day-tripping and island hopping. 5-15 minutes the other way gets you to all the "famous" St. Thomas beaches - although you may never want to leave Sapphire! I did a ton of research on the front end and it definitely paid off - we are already talking about coming back with another group for my husband's 60th in a few years. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!

Awesome place right on the beach
If you’re like us, you are probably wondering if this place is as close to the beach as it looks in the pictures. It is! There’s a short lawn, and then the beach, it really couldn’t be closer, and is right in front of some great snorkeling!
The place is super comfortable, and spacious. Our family of four felt right at home. The owner was super communicative and helpful. I fully recommend this place.

This VRBO is a gem!!
This VRBO is perfectly located for a relaxing beach vacation. It is literally 20 steps to Sapphire Beach. The unit is 2 floors and has a spacious feel. Most others in the area are split into separate up or down units. It sits on the corner closest to the beach, making the attached outdoor patio completely private. The unit has been updated to a very comfortable and nice level. The unit is outfitted with stuff needed for living/beach vacation. A friend forgot their snorkel mask and there was one at the house. We cooked and grilled several nights and there were spices, plates, lighter fluid, etc. Some of this was I'm sure leftovers, but they saved us expense and time and comfort by leaving useful stuff in the unit. Sapphire Beach has great snorkeling and is not overly crowded. We snorkeled other coves and this was our favorite. It has Corel, grass, sand areas that attract different aquatic animals. The check in and out process was easy. Julie and Tiffany who manage the property were easy to contact and responsive. We had no issues. I can't say enough positive about the experience.
