We loved our stay at the start of half term. 2 families , 4 adults, 4 children. The property is a really good size and is so close to Sandsend. The property felt modern, clean and the beds were comfortable. The garden was enclosed and really good size - we imagined this would be lovely in sunny weather! The central heating wasn’t working when we arrived and as the weather had turned but the staff were great and it was sorted in 2-3 hours and then the property was lovely and warm.
The main bathroom is very small but perfectly adequate. If you are staying in the bedroom downstairs the bathroom facilities are a bit of a distance but it was easily manageable.

It’s a lovely old building and very quiet surroundings. It has lots of character. A good base to see Whitby, sandsend, runswick bay. Plenty of room for everyone.
It’s always quite cool downstairs. Radiators don’t seem to come on even if the thermostat temperature is increased. The garden could be made lovely. It’s very overgrown with the grass needing cut and trees, all needing pruned. Lots of weeds.
