Breakfast was excellent. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Friendly welcome and my son and I had a perfect stay. We would definetly return.

This is a very nice accommodation! The location is very good, just 5 minutes walk from the Caledonian Canal. Billy and Debs are very friendly! They cooked a very delicious breakfast!! The atmosphere in this hotel is amazing! The bed is comfortable, I slept very well.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely B&B. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Our room was comfortable, beautifully presented, and had wonderful views. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The B&B is centrally located, making it very convenient for exploring the area, and the off-street parking was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

PARKING: small private open area in front of the guesthouse. The area looked very safe indeed. CHECK-IN: friendly and very kind host you are gonna meet. Everything is sorted out. Just keep in touch for the arrival time, being a guesthouse you don't want to get there too late in the afternoon. STAFF: Dexter will welcome you with its soft fur, just sitting on same stands outside of the window. Pay respect to the real owner of the place :-) WIFI/VPN: work SIZE: large with a nice desk/sitting area and plenty of light and air provided by windows on two side of the room. STYLE: woody renewed cheering cottage style, I liked a lot, with some attention to details here and there. Very nice. POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on. CLEAN: yes, very much indeed. BATHROOM: clean spacious and with lots of utilities provided. However - my mistake, I didn't check it properly in advance - it is private, but you have to cross the corridor to get to it. So a bit uneasy with other guests, if you usually roam half naked, not to mention having to lock your room and your bathroom doors every time. Given the price for the room, eeeh it didn't make look good the value for the money. Other than that all good, I cannot really complain. But that bidet you use as plant holder, that made my inner italian soul really hurt! QUIET: yes, but the whole village is. Other guests in the building: I could barely hear them. LOCATION: as one-night stop it was perfect. Not much going on around, but a good spot to visit the area and the village is all in walking distance. SERVICES AROUND: I came a little late, but I spotted fews around. BREAKFAST: the host prepares it for you in the morning, you can have it "to-go" if you set it up with him... and don't forget to check the fridge, as I did. RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: a couple of places almost around the corner and a beautiful lake-view place if you walk 5 mins.

VALUE FOR THE MONEY: I know Scotland isn't the cheapest place and this accommodation had plenty of space, facilities (including the parking), breakfast and it all looked very clean. Still, given the cross-the-corridor detached bathroom situation, it felt a bit overpriced to me.
