We had a great stay, barely interacted with anyone which was fine with us. Pool is gorgeous- lots of space, place feels

Bait and Switch

Overall Boca is a great place with many wonderful people but I would not book with this host or establishment.

The room we got was not what was advertised in photos, posting or direct email correspondence. The room we booked was shown to have 2 king beds (evidence in Booking.com reservation, photos and email correspondence with the property). My son ended up on a saggy rollaway that his feet stuck over the end. The host responded to my original rating with a patent lie stating we showed up with 5 additional guests. This has been elevated to a Sr. Specialist at Booking.com. This same property advertised a room on A2B which pulled an even worse bait and switch on the room my sister reserved and more lies. If it had been the room promised I would have rated them awesome. If they even owned up to the error by making this right I would also change my rating but it is not looking promising.

Bad

We actually checked in and then decided to bite the bullet and leave afterwards; not staying for the night. There was only one person on staff. He seemed to not know what was going on. All the water machines were out. Nothing to drink. There was no AC or a fan. The lights kept flickering in our room. Pool nor hot tub was clean. The place had very weird and off vibes. Supposed to be a hotel but literally just someone’s mansion that has no body keeping up with it. Literally there were sofas with no cushions on them. Great views was the ONLY upside.
