About this house rental
Nestled in Harbor Springs, this attractive house for $309 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Cozy and clean 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Street a few blocks from downtown Harbor Springs. Bathroom was fully renovated in spring 2023. It's a short walk to, downtown restaurants and shopping, and a quick drive to golf courses, Pond Hill Farm, the Tunnel of Trees, and ski areas. Our dog-friendly cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, 2 TVs, high-speed wifi, 2 queen beds, parking, and a large back yard with seating and a fire pit. The house is professionally cleaned between guests and includes fresh sheets, bath towels, and beach towels for your stay. During the summer there is a window AC unit that keeps the whole house cool and comfortable. Our dog-friendly and kid-friendly house has all the amenities of home in a great location convenient to all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Relax in the living room on a cozy couch and pair of comfy club chairs. The newly renovated (Spring 2023) bathroom has built-in shelving, a new shower and all new fixtures. There is a small breezeway next to the kitchen and adjacent laundry room with shelves/hooks for your winter or lake gear! Other things you'll find to make your stay easy and enjoyable: playing cards, puzzles, extra blankets and pillows, wine/bottle openers, paper towel, toilet paper, dish and hand soap, a portable fan in both bedrooms, and hangers. The house is situated on a large lot with a big and mostly private yard that backs up to trees on two sides. You'll be just a few blocks from amazing views of Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan!

This cozy little house is on Lake Street very near the Elementary and High Schools. The kitchen is well appointed and the queen bed was very comfortable. You should be aware that there is no dishwasher but washing a few dishes was no problem for us!

We had the best time staying at Michele’s house in Harbor Springs. We brought our two dogs and the yard could not have been better for our situation. From start to finish, our check in, entire stay, and check out all were exactly what you hope for from a VRBO. Awesome communication, thoughtful gift basket left for our family (with treats for our dog - left my ball at home so thank you for saving the day). The house is comfortable and inviting, great location and as mentioned before - awesome back yard.
We couldn’t stop saying how this feels like the authentic VRBO experience so many listings have moved away from. We really felt like Michele had invited us into her home and took care of us like you would a friend. I even left items behind and she went out of her way to make sure they were returned to me. I also had made a mistake when initially scheduling and Michele was wonderful to work with me to adjust. We felt very lucky to have found this home.
We will absolutely be staying here again going forward and cannot wait to get back!

This cottage is as described if not better. It was thoroughly enjoyable for my wife and myself along with our dog. Everything we needed was provided and labeled throughout the cottage. Excellent location close to town. Great location for quick or long walks with our dog. Excellent communication with the host when we had a minor issue with the washer that was remedied within hours. Truly a high end rental. We look forward to coming back.

Cottage is in a great location In Harbor Springs with very good access to Boyne Highlands, Nubs Nob and Petoskey. Nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. We greatly appreciated that our dog was welcomed here. Since it was winter time and we were here to ski, we didn't get to enjoy the big back yard but it would make great place to let the dog run and enjoy cooking outside if it were warm out.

The cottage was well-laid out and location was perfectly located to the local ski hills. The yard is HUGE and laid out wonderfully. The property owner is very responsive and kind.

Walking distance to downtown, short drive to the ski hills, central to lots of hiking trails, and close to the grocery store. Since restaurants were closed, we cooked almost every night and let me tell you this was the most stocked kitchen we have ever had in a rental property! Anything you need to make a meal is there and ready to go - grill, crockpot, ramekins, truly anything, and to make life even easier all of the cabinets are labeled so you are not searching for things.
One of the highlights of this property for us was that it is pet friendly, our pup Gunnarr had a blast exploring the HUGE yard and playing with the tennis ball Maureen left for him, they even had a chuck-it! Overall, we loved our stay, it was just what we needed and we hope to be back again soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It was close quarters for 5 people, but the layout of the place made it work. The kitchen is surprisingly functional, and the single bathroom was not a problem for our crew.

Great Location
We enjoyed being so close to town in Harbor Springs and also having short drives to the Tunnel of Trees, Mackinaw City and Petosky! We also enjoyed having our dog with us and the beautiful Zoll Street Dog Beach! We loved our stay!

This was the second time I stayed at this house, and it felt like I was returning home. The house was very well stocked, the hosts were accessible and friendly, and my stay (although unfortunately cut short by the pandemic) was delightful.
