I loved that it was basically a tiny apartment all to myself for a few days, including a washer/dryer which was especially handy when driving. It felt like an incredibly cool flat apartment, and I loved it there.
I couldn't figure out how to work the TV and the phone didn't work to ask.

The location is great - central Philadelphia near many food options, particularly Reading Terminal and Chinatown. It is also near a number of sites and entertainment. The rooms/apartments are loft-style with stocked kitchens. Additionally the rooftop terrace view was amazing. I would return - and have recommended Heid Lofts to many.
The main issues with the location are regarding customer service and need for for more staff. Firstly, I was trying to arrange an early check-in; and contacting Heid Lofts via phone was impossible due to the AI assistant and the inability to speak to a human. Secondly, I had a very early checkout and I almost missed my train as the receptionist could not be found to do my checkout - as he was doing security rounds. There needs to be two staff members on at night. Thirdly, the rooftop terrace is amazing - complete with a gym room. However, the rooftop did not open until 9am - which is late for access to the gym. Additionally, a family took over the whole terrace one night while I was there with their pizza boxes. It would be good to have staff check in to ensure the terrace can be used by all.

I loved the ambiance of the whole hotel. The room was spacious and everything I expected it to be! The lobby was clean and the concierge was very nice and helpful. Dawon made sure I knew where to park and offered some places to visit. I felt safe while he was around. The facility was quiet and the views from the rooftop were beautiful! I would certainly stay again!
