About this bed and breakfast
Private large 2 room suite and private bath, private entrance with courtyard. Built in work space with plenty of room for Zoom, computers, etc. Hi speed internet with expander. Lavishly furnished with spectacular views just minutes from downtown and local restaurants along Santa Fe's north side. Free coffee but bring your own cream-refrigerator, microwave, toaster. No TV, but bring one if you prefer. Furnishings include a love-seat, a large cushy chair, and outdoor chairs for the courtyard. Queen sleigh bed. Clawfoot bathtub. Main house with owner on site. Guest suite attached but totally private with separate entrance and parking. No smoking or perfumes, thank you. One small well behaved dog ok, with a $20 pet fee per day. I do not accept cats or large dogs or shedding dogs. Sorry but no exceptions. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU CHOOSE INSTANT BOOK IF TRAVELING WITH YOUR PET FOR APPROVAL. Pet fee is paid in - cash only- please see pet fee envelope after checking in, thanks. Check in for as few as 2 nights (minimum) with a max of 10 nights. Occupancy for 2 people. Located out of the city limits, so expect quiet time and restoration. Stroll the back roads or enjoy the new bamboo garden and table and chairs setup. Local museums and downtown are just 10-15 minutes away on a good day. Hi speed internet ! Fast access to services, restaurants and Historic sites . Work from home or enjoy Santa Fe's great selection of sights and outings. This is a quiet peaceful space for travelers. Ski Santa Fe-we are having a great year with currently a 55" snow base.

We enjoyed our stay here as we simply used it as an overnight base for our stay for 6 day/5 nights into Santa Fe and Taos area. This was our first visit to New Mexico and had a really fun and pleasant trip. The room and accommodations were comfortable for us (2 people) and we liked the atmosphere and design of this cozy VRBO.

I wish Kevin had told us his home was in a rural area where there were no amenities ie coffee shop , corner store or restaurant that one could walk to .Lighting required an electrical engineer to figure out . Needless to say we never did !! Fresh ground coffee in the fridge smelled delicious but there were no mugs or milk / powdered creamer . The bathroom needs work but best bath towel ever . We did appreciate Kevin’s availability .

If you are needing a quiet place on the outskirts of Santa Fe that is in a country setting yet only 10 to 15 minutes to the central plaza, this is your place. Clean, minimalist charm, strong wifi signal, no TV. The views and sunsets are incredible.

Meeting family in Santa Fe, didn't want to stay in the city during Indian Market, we prefer something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Casa Keko was just what we wanted, simple accommodations with a very comfortable bed, clawfoot bathtub for soaking, microwave & fridge, and great coffee! Only a 15-minute drive into the center of the city and all the action. Host communicated well. We would stay at Casa Keko again.

The property was cozy, clean and authentic to the area. Did not meet the owners but no issues with communication. Would’ve liked a full kitchen but it is true to description, of kitchenette only. Definitely need a car if you choose to stay here, not close to public transportation. Peaceful country location.

Everything was exactly as advertised. Check-in was easy and everything needed for a weekend stay is provided. Only one small complaint: the bath towels smelled a little musty.

Loved the area the property was in. Just far enough outside Santa Fe where it was quiet and peaceful yet still easy to get to where we needed to go. The Casita itself was cozy and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Kevin’s place is exactly as described. It is in a quiet beautiful neighborhood in Santa Fe, 10 min away from Plaza. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the AM, looking down on beautiful scenery.
Kevin was a great host. Place was clean- perfect space with everything you need in it! he had all the manuals where it was easily accessible. Only thing is that the bedding, especially pillow smelled bit funky- but we had brought our own pillow so that didn’t bother us too much.
Overall an amazing stay and we would definitely come back!

It's a good solid place. It's as advertised. It's off 599 and so not super close, but the neighborhood is quiet and very Santa Fe. There's a smattering of houses along some rolling dirt roads with some views. The place is really quiet and private. There is some cross noise from the main house, but it is minor, and that only affects the living room and not the bedroom. Kevin communicates well, and he was really cognizant of my need to have quiet (I'm a night worker who works in NM, so I sleep days). I would mention there is only the one sink in the bathroom, so that is how dishes are cleaned and such, but a minor inconvenience. It's a good, solid, quiet, peaceful place with good spacing for guests.

very nice property. Simple, nothing fancy, but very functional, convenient to various parts of the City if you let GPS lead you to the Plaza, northside, etc. You won't have a TV or A/C, but why are you watching TV in Santa Fe? Very good internet connection. One thing we'd recommend is a couple of ceiling fans, but the portable ones worked well enough. We'll stay here again!

This is a great option for 2 people seeking a beautiful and private Santa Fe experience, located conveniently but away from the bustle of the Plaza. Casita suite with views of the mountains, clean accommodations and generous bathroom and kitchenette supplies. Welcoming and responsive host provided good local information and library of interesting books. We will definitely return!

What a great find! An absolutely wonderful room which was well appointed and was perfect for our five days in Santa Fe. We loved the location just out of town in Agua Fria, amazing sunsets, cool evenings with a sky full of stars! The private patio was perfect for morning coffee before setting out for the day. Mountain biking and hiking trails nearby were great and it was only 10-15 minutes to the Plaza- everything you could ask for in a getaway vacation. Our host was fantastic as well and we’ll definitely book again next time we’re headed to Santa Fe!

Good place to decompress
I came out for work. This little appendage to the home was perfect for me while on a work trip. The only downside was somewhat slow internet when some of our meetings pivoted to zoom.

The Van Slooten property was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the gated patio. It allowed incredible views of the stars and the city lights were visible on walks down the quiet road.
Struggling to find words other than "gorgeous" but gorgeous sums up our stay there. Close enough to city center to be easy and convenient and just far enough out to feel removed and intimate.
Again...cannot wait to return to the property on our next visit, thank you Van Slooten's!

We loved the location! Close enough to all the Santa Fe attractions without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Best of both worlds. We came to go skiing , but also had a chance to hit a couple of restaurants featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. We would definitely stay here again.
