Celebrated my 16 year old daughter’s birthday with a few of her friends. Home is cutely decorated and clean with all the necessities needed to enjoy the entire weekend. The girls spent most of their time in this 3 bedroom spacious home with a cute lil loft . The huge master bedroom is tucked away along a long hallway giving you the privacy and quietness from the 2 additional bedrooms across from each other which was perfect for the girls. Lots of towels and extra sheets! Full kitchen and coffee bar and garage is full of fun stuff which the girls enjoyed … beach cruisers , padddle board, games and beach towels. The beach is about 2 blocks away but although rocky the girls enjoyed hanging out there as it was low tide.i”This house is truly amazing and would definitely be a top recommendation . Thank you for a memorable birthday weekend!

Loved the house , very clean and bright. Instructions were very clear. I’d stay here again. I had family/friends from Florida and with the beach down the street it was amazing. They even lived the local bar Larry’s, we live in Oceanside so we know Oceanside well and it was a perfect spot. Thank you Erik for answering any questions quick.

Great house- perfect for a family. Had tons of beach toys, kids toys and the teen boys loved the pool table.
Kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were all comfortable.
Great location- it is 4 blocks from the ocean, however to get to the beach for sand/playing in the sand have to drive 1 mile down the road. Would still stay again though!

Property was very welcoming. Kids loved the room with two beds and trundles as they could all sleep together. Loved the bikes, surf boards, and beach towels!

Erik was a great responsive host. The house was more than expected. I would give this place 5 crowns because it felt like we were at a resort with all the amenities. The pictures do not show a few upgrades like the stainless steel washer & dryer. A lot more games in the garage including corn hole, washers, large connect four..etc. Anyway, you won't be disappointed when you rent Erik's home. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

In town for a soccer tournament. Erik was a wonderful host. The house is just as described. Very conveniently located to the beach and Oceanside attractions. Beds were super comfortable and the house was nicely decorated. Lots of space for all of us. The beach towels, bikes and pool table were fun for the family. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, very clean. Everything you’ll need is there. Erik responds quickly to any questions. Daughter and granddaughters enjoyed the bikes. We absolutely recommend staying here. It made our trip even more enjoyable.

adult family vacation
Beautiful home! very clean and fresh. Had everything you needed, bikes, surf boards, beach chairs, etc. The host was a great with communication. Loved the roof top deck. Everything was perfect. Just know the beach down the street is not good for sun bathing……only at very low tide, you will need to go a few blocks south for a larger beach, this was not a big issue for us, but something you should consider. The loft area is super nice. great place for 6 adults.

Great property and location
Awesome location with lots of great restaurants and coffee places nearby. Erik was great with communication and helping with anything he could. Train station right around the corner if you were interested in traveling without using a vehicle. First time at Oceanside and won't be the last.

We stayed here with our 3 young children and our nanny. We did opt to drive to the beach, near the harbor, most days as there isn’t much of a beach within walking distance; at least not for our young kids. But we didn’t mind at all! It is located near shops and restaurants and a short drive to the interstate to go into town and get to theme parks etc. The garage was spacious enough to “just barely” contain our massive Jeep Wagoneer that we rented. Anything smaller and you won’t have any problems at all. The beach equipment and bikes and towels and such at your disposal in the garage were so handy! Plus a wagon to haul stuff to the beach in. Washer and dryer were top notch. We didn’t utilize the 3rd floor patio but my daughter loved sleeping up there. The house really does stay very cool, at least when we were there (May) and we didn’t need the AC at all. We would definitely stay here again. Owners were very quick and easy to communicate with and even provided some fun snacks and activities for the kids upon our arrival. 5 out of 5 stars.

Wonderful Stay in Oceanside
Let me start by saying these are by far the Best Hosts with an amazing property! We travel to Oceanside each Thanksgiving to spend the holiday with our son who is in the Military so we really look for a property that will "Feel Like Home" and this property did not disappoint! The pictures are extremely accurate as the house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen has all the amenities you need. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed and then some!
And the BEDS....The beds were so comfortable!
When we return to Oceanside we will definitely stay again!
Erik thank you so much for making this stay so memorable! With our son just returning from Deployment, I could not have asked for a better HOME to stay!

Wonderful house!
A group of us stayed here for a soccer tournament and were very pleased with our stay. House was clean, kitchen amenities were all available and owner was responsive. This is probably the second rental where I can say that the pictures are very accurate and I was not disappointed. House was well appointed and we were surprised with a cute welcome basket when we arrived with water & little treats! We also used the bikes to ride down to the beach and cleaned off all the sand using the outdoor showers. Just an overall great house as a home base for our group.
The only FYI was that this house is located a few houses away from a bar. We didn’t hear any crazy noises (mostly motorcycles) and were all able to sleep well. This would not deter me from staying there again for the next time we are here but just felt that people should know.

This place is awesome! We had our family meet in Cali for a weekend to celebrate a HS graduation and a birthday. This home is not only gorgeous, but also conveniently located. Quick walk to the beach, we even walked to the harbor and took a whale watching cruise (also highly recommend).

Best Oceanside home for a family weekend!!!!
This place is awesome! We had our family meet in Cali for a weekend to celebrate a HS graduation and a birthday. This home is not only gorgeous, but also conveniently located. Quick walk to the beach, we even walked to the harbor and took a whale watching cruise (also highly recommend).

Beautifully Appointed Home away from Home
This VRBO rental is one of our top 2 (the other was in Hawaii) out of 20 years of rentals! It was perfect for our family and the bridal party as we prepared for my daughter’s wedding. The gorgeous light in the spacious living room was perfect for hair and makeup, and the many beds available for sleeping made us all very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, and has lots of room on the island for feeding a large group or just hanging out.
All our guests commented on the how well the home is decorated in absolutely every space from the bottom floor, to the guest rooms, and even the loft. The decks upstairs and all the rooms allow for groups to gather or have privacy, and we had lots of space.
Erik was very responsive to questions, and there were waters and snacks when we arrived, which is a nice touch. It’s very nice to have contactless entry too. The garage has stuff for the beach, kids bikes and games, beach cruisers, etc that we all wish we’d had more time to enjoy. We found children’s toys in a cupboard in the family room which came in handy when the 2 year old ringbearer stopped by. The house is stocked with paper goods, basic cooking needs, laundry soap, and everything else we needed. We would be happy to come back and stay again and enjoy this beautiful home.

I recommend reading through the Welcome Guide provided in the kitchen; we found more than half the activities and restaurants we went to during our stay (I personally suggest skydiving at GoJump and the La Jolla Kayak tour).
There’s parking in the garage, beach stuff (towels, chairs, toys, etc), HUGE TUB (used that excessively), and all the streaming apps you could think of.
I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Oceanside and HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a fancy weekend with friends or family.

Lovely Home was a Perfect Fit!
Our group of six adults absolutely loved this property. There was plenty of space to spread out with two living areas and a dining space, as well as very comfortable bedrooms all of which were beautifully decorated. We made a lot of use of the garage, the townie bikes and the outside spaces. Several members of our group went for runs/walks from "home" and the 1.7 miles to the Pier made for a perfect distance. Everyone in our group agrees we will 100% stay here again if we're back next year!

We had a nice stay. Erik was great at communicating & leaving extras at the house such as a bike for my six-year-old & a welcome basket.
Pros:
All the bedrooms have mounted big screen TVs, the decks are lovely. The house is large, has a side yard for little ones to play in, & was fully stocked, including a cupboard full of toys for my youngest to play with.
Cons:
The house is nice, but on a street full of trailers. I truly wasn’t sure if we were in a good neighborhood or not. We chose to opt out of our planned nightly walks to the ocean due to. Additionally, the house had too many stairs for my liking. I never even took my luggage upstairs as it was heavy & it would have taken a lot to get it up the stairs. Also- the entire house has wood floors or tiles. One night when heading up to go to bed I slipped on the wood stairs & fell down 4 of them. I still have huge bruises on both sides of my hips and a swollen knee. For 4 of our 6 days there I could barely walk, which made it difficult to enjoy our vacation.
The other downsides for me were being told we could check in early, but the house not being ready upon agreed check in time. After a very early flight my girls and I had to park on the side of the road to sleep as we were exhausted. I was told there were cleaners in the house, but when I drove by I saw the cleaners were the owners. Not a big deal to me, but as far as I could see there weren’t hired cleaners on site.
I may be a bit bias as I own a rental myself, but the house wasn’t very clean. There were someone’s black hairs on the bedding when I went to climb into bed. I’m blonde, so they weren’t mine. I ended up washing all the bedding. There was some sort of gunk on the inside of the fridge. Therefore, I cleaned the fridge. Several of the dishes were put away dirty & needed to be scrubbed. There was urine on the upstairs toilet before any of us even touched it. Party balloons and banners stuck to the walls with tape were left in the living room. I also cleaned all of that up. I can only assume the people who had left earlier that day had a fairly large party. There’s more, but I’ll just leave it as the house wasn’t as clean as I’d leave my own rental.
It was nice having an incredible beach & many great restaurants nearby. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but for what I paid for a 6 night stay (plus cleaning fees) I’d expect a cleaner place I didn’t have to clean myself. Nonetheless, it’s a nice rental.

Amazing beach house!
As soon as we walked through the front door this gorgeous home took our breath away. Absolutely immaculate! So much room and so many places to visit and hang out. We made so many wonderful memories this week and the house was the heart of it.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Erik was there when we arrived and gave us a walk through and great recommendations on food.
The house was AMAZING!!! Very bright and beautifully decorated. Everything was spotless. Each room had its own charm and we were more than comfortable. We loved the upstairs roof areas to sit and enjoy the sunset. We could easily walk to the rocks to look at the ocean and was only a 20 min walk to the pier.
I’ve already recommended this vacation spot to friends and family. We will be back for sure.

Great place close to beach!
This property is clean, comfortable and very spacious. Beds are comfortable. The 3rd floor decks create fun outdoor space with a view. Walking distance to beach, also very close to shopping and restaurants. Owner very responsive! Looking forward to returning!

Oceanside comfort
Very comfortable place to stay. As with many beach towns, the coaster train rolls through several times. This house is close enough to the tracks to hear a little but it is not bad at all. We would stay here again for sure.
