Twice is Nice is the latest, brand new addition, with access off the alley, parking for three vehicles, partial fencing for privacy. We are right in the heart of Paso Robles on the desirable “West Side”. New construction with all the modern & convenient amenities, including hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen, in-floor heating in the two bathrooms. The open floor plan is illuminated by multiple clerestory windows creating an open, light and bright atmosphere throughout the home. Paso Robles has so much to offer and we’re just blocks away from a wide variety of restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, concerts & festivals in the park. The Park Cinema screens current films; there are monthly events at the Mid State Fair & the Paso Robles Events Center. Many fine wine tasting rooms surround Paso Robles and are a beautiful, leisurely, short drive away. Just half an hour away by car you’ll find Lake Nacimiento & Lake San Antonio, as well as the beautiful coastal towns of Morro Bay, Avila, Cayucos & Cambria ~ the gateway to Big Sur. City Permit #STR19-0189. ***We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, cream, and sugar for the provided Italian drip coffee maker onsite. Steve and Dawn’s vacation rental was absolutely lovely! Everything including the interior design, layout, high end fixtures and even the beds were of exceptional quality. The neighborhood is very quiet since the house faces a picturesque ally. The location is perfect for walking to town for dinner, shopping, etc. If you’re wanting to watch TV, you will need an account with prime, Netflix, you tube, etc as they don’t have cable.

We loved staying at this property! It was super clean, upgraded and well-kept. The location was fantastic and we loved walking to downtown so easily. Steve is a great host, made everything so easy and is SO nice. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are no blackout shades in the bedrooms and the upper windows don’t have shades or blinds at all. We traveled with a baby so did bring our own travel blackout shades based on the other reviews but light definitely still got in. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Twice is Nice! The house is in a great location that is walkable to downtown and close to most of the wineries. The house has everything that you would need to make your stay great. It's clean, updated and the beds were comfortable. Perfect place for two couples to stay when visiting Paso Robles. My only negative would be to get some window blinds or coverings in both of the bedrooms for the upper windows. At night both bedrooms have lights that shine through from the neighboring houses making it difficult to fall asleep. I also think that a fire pit on the porch would be a great addition. All in all it's a great place that I would recommend and I would stay again in the future for another visit.

The house was absolutely excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. The open concept of the house was great. The couches were great. The kitchen had a lot of utensils and everything that you would need when you’re at home I would recommend anybody to stay there. It was a little bit too high in the one bathroom the bathtub, but other than that it was absolutely fantastic. We were extremely happy. I will ask for that place the next time I go to Paso I’ve been coming to Paso for 11 years using Paso Robles rental property. Thank you so much for a lovely New Year’s.

Tucked away a few blocks off main street, this property offers a tranquil environment to enjoy your time in Paso Robles while being walking distance to the town square and all the fun that Paso has to offer!
We were very impressed at how well maintained this property was. Steve (the host) has thought out almost every detail one can imagine for a great experience for guests. He was very communicative with us throughout the process to make check in extremely easy. The home has "mini split" air conditioning and heating which is extremely efficient and quiet. The nice part about it is that each guest can set the temperature in their room to their comfort rather than one central temperature for the entire house.
The floor plan is open and well laid out, there are bathrooms in between the two bedrooms and the doors between the rooms are solid core doors which reduces the noise between rooms even more. There is plenty of closet space in each room to store your luggage and clothing and the bathrooms are large. The beds are very comfortable and we all got some good rest while staying here as it is also very quiet at night in the neighborhood.
The appliances are all top notch and the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of spices, paper towels, soap, etc. needed if you wish to cook meals here, it's the perfect spot! And of course we're in wine country and there were plenty of full size (adult) wine glasses in the cupboards for our use while staying there as well as a wine opener. There is also a full size washer and dryer in the closet off the kitchen which is very convenient if you have some laundry you need to be done and plenty of laundry soap.
The internet worked great, and we enjoyed the outdoor patio as well. It's not a large outdoor space, but it's got plenty of room to have a BBQ (there is a gas grill that is directly connected to the gas line so you never have to deal with propane running out) or just sit outside and relax with a glass of wine.
The only area I would recommend for improvement is the fridge did not have a filtered water dispenser on it, so I would recommend the host put a filtered water pitcher in the fridge or install a dispenser in the kitchen sink.
Overall, this is definitely one of the top spots in Paso for smaller groups (ideally 2 couples) to enjoy their time in the beautiful Paso wine country! We hope to come back again soon!
