lovely setting, location. clean. nice decor, facilities
this was for our honeymoon. did say so in booking.
not so much as a congratulations message or card or anything
in fact no welcome at all, given the price, a welcome hamper
even basic would have been welcome. could even showcase the produce
you have on site. I have stayed at places far cheaper
and have had a warmer welcome. first impressions count you know

We loved it’s location. It was very peaceful.
We felt a bottle of milk on arrival to go with the tea and coffee provided would have been good. Also the shower room was in need of repair. In particular the skirting board near the shower. Plus the shower leaked. We forgave the plaster cracks as it’s a very old property. Also a table and chairs outside would have been better than the wooden picnic bench which wasn’t at all comfortable.
