Located in Ohio, this lovely cabin for $200 per night is a great option for your next trip. This cabin is the perfect romantic get-a-way or small family retreat; so close to so much, yet nicely tucked away in a private setting. This two bedroom one bath cozy cabin is located on approximately 8 acres nestled within Mohican State Park. Not only will you find this to be a quietly secluded, clean and comfortable vacation destination, you will also find this to be a premier location!! It's hard to find private property located inside this state park! Put your shoes on, head out the door and: Walk to Pleasant Hill Lake and cast your fishing pole. Walk to the Lyons Falls to see two uniquely different water falls. Walk to the picturesque Covered Bridge, a famous destination in Mohican. Stroll along the bridle trail and watch for wildlife such as deer, turkey, etc. Hike the trail along the lake and keep an eye out for eagles, herons, buzzards etc. Hop on your mountain bike and ride on to connect to a top ranking 25 mi mountain bike trail. Want to venture out further? Feel like dining out? Want to shop? Upon opening the front door, you’ll step into the living room, which has a spacious feel due to the high ceiling. Living Room: couch, chair, a 42” HDTV with DishTV , WIFI internet access, coffee table filled with games and cards, ceiling fan and a gas fireplace. Dining/Kitchen: There is a full size refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, crock pot, blender, pots and pans, glasses, stemware, dinnerware and utensils for 8 people, grill utensils, coffee pot and filters, toaster, some miscellaneous spices, mixer, mixing bowls, mixing spoons, mixing cups, bottle openers, cutting board, dish towels, dish soap, garbage bags and cook books. Bathroom: plush towels, toilet paper, hairdryer, first aid kit. Master Bedroom: Queen bed, linen included, electric fireplace, TV, alarm clock. Lofted bedroom: 2 Queen beds, linens included, 20" HDTV, desk with coloring books and crayons. This room has a low ceiling. A child can walk pretty easily, but adults have to walk hunched over. Clearance is 4 ft in the center. Deck/Porch/Lot: Porch swing, patio table, stainless steel gas grill with side burner, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, large mowed lot, gravel parking area. Please no parking on the grass. General: A/C, vacuum, iron and ironing board, drying rack. **Firewood is now available on the property. We just ask that you make a donation equal to the amount of wood you burn.** Mohican State Park, Perrysville, Loudonville, Mohican Valley, Mohican Canoe, Mountain bike

Very cute and clean! Stocked well. Didn’t get to enjoy fire pit because of rain but did enjoy covered porches! great location! Owners provided a “ local” binder which was very helpful! Highly recommend!

When we pulled up to the cabin, we were immediately welcomed by a couple of deer. We were in town for a family wedding and some events were at the lodge, while the wedding was at the Mohican Wedding venue. The cabin was conveniently located for our activities and very comfortable to come home to. We did giggle about the upstairs loft but It was truly charming! Our 38 yr old son decide to join us for the trip so that was his space. He slept great up there and it made our trip even more memorable. Being from Colorado, we appreciate how special this little cabin is and would def stay again. Thank you for sharing it with us!

The owners thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay easy and comfortable! Ex-Firewood, Grill and starter pack, spices, TP, bottle opener, wine opener, ice cubes, extra pillows, bug spray, pots n pans and every cooking utensil you can think of.
I enjoyed the porch swing on the covered deck…perfect for my morning coffee and the chairs around the fire ring. We did not have a Fire but I sat outside to read.
Very comfortable stay and I plan on returning!

This quaint cabin nestled in the woods is a great place for a getaway. The family and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The outdoor space is just as inviting as theindoor space. The lofted bedroom ceilings have the 4 foot clearance as listed and was perfect for our kids, but would not be ideal for adults to stay in. The cabin has everything needed to have a great time away. Would love to stay again!

We are an older couple that chose this cabin because we really like camping. We enjoyed this cozy cabin that is set near the woods. The campfire area was very enjoyable for us to end our day. The area is also very beautiful with so much to do nearby. We enjoyed hiking, bike riding, kayaking, and site-seeing. We would definitely choose to enjoy it again.

The cabin is great! Very pretty setting. Great location - close to wherever we wanted to go. Very neat and well-stocked. Great outdoor spaces (large porch w/porch swing was great), firepit area was thoroughly enjoyed. We purchased wood from Boy Scout place close by - and left a few unburned logs - althought there was some stocked there for us. We just knew we would need to replace anyway. Gas grill was brand new.
Plenty of nice, quality bath towels for all of us - although our grandkids were so worn out they got to skip whole showers and we scrubbed them up at the sink before bed for our two night there!
Living area furniture is comfortable.
The 4 stars on cleanliness was solely for our only suggestion - that the large area rug in the living space could use a cleaning - although totally understand that folks are walking in and out in all sorts of weather - so would be hard to keep that clean.
While it is a two bedroom - the second area is definitely a sleeping "loft" - our adult son and his two littles shared that space - and he had to be on his hands and knees to maneuver - but the kids thought it was a magical spot!!!

It was a cozy cabin that was far enough away from civilization for privacy but close enough to do things that you wanted to do. The porch snd fire pit area were so peaceful and relaxing. We golfed and fished and hiked when we wanted to and enjoyed a fire at night. Very relaxing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful cabin for a weekend getaway and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings and the cozy, rustic charm of the cabin.
The cabin itself was immaculately clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the living area was cozy and inviting.
But what really made this cabin stand out was the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounded us. The cabin was nestled in a peaceful wooded area, with a huge yard for our grandchildren to play in. We spent our days hiking and exploring the local area, and our evenings relaxing on the porch, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of nature.
Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in a beautiful natural setting. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-appointed, and the surrounding area was simply breathtaking. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend away or a fun family vacation, this cabin is the perfect choice and the hosts are the most!

The location is perfect for access to mohican and the loudonville area. Lots to see and do. It is small but very comfy and well laid out. One note for tall people. The bedroom and bathroom have low ceilings. The loft is also short but is described in the general info. I highly recommend this cabin for a great place to spend the evenings after your busy day of sightseeing and outdoor activities. You can also sit in the deck morning or evening and enjoy the beautiful property. A fire ring area and firewood were on site but we didn't use. Communication was very good

We loved our stay here - it has a secluded feel but is right off roads that take you to many Mohican attractions. The cabin feels like home, is comfortable, and has nice amenities. Had zero issues with our stay. We would love to stay again next time we’re in the area.

The cabin is delightful! Everything was clean and well appointed, with helpful, thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed time by the fire pit; the area was quiet and very relaxing. The location is very close (0.5 mi) to park trails to Lyons Falls, which we enjoyed very much. A local restaurant, the Black Fork, was a great find. Overall, this was a wonderful getaway, and we hope to visit this cabin and area again.

The cabin was clean and cozy. My boys loved the loft and running wild in the open yard space. It was easy to communicate with hosts and they were very accommodating. It was close to everything we wanted to do and even with the on and off rain we had great trip!

We selected this cabin for a winter getaway. Our kids are five and seven & knew they would enjoy the loft space & their first time skiing at Snow Trails. Communication was great with the owner, and the cabin was very clean and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet and private space. Owner was very helpful in resolving the gas grill. Thank you for a nice stay!

Fantastic from start to finish. Hosts were helpful and friendly with efficient and effective communication and check-in process. The property is peaceful and secluded but very close/short walk to trails and the lake. The cabin itself is cozy and felt much bigger than it’s 600sqft. Every amenity was included and appreciated; didn’t need to bring any kitchen supplies other than food. The loft area is so cute but use for other than children is a no-go, unless they’re really limber and spry adults. Everything was clean and well maintained. Will be back for sure!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was extremely clean and the flow of the cabin was welcoming and cozy. The floors, kitchens, and sheets were all spotless! It was the perfect size and set up for my mom and me, and the owners had every accommodation/amenities that one would need (i.e. fully stocked kitchen, shampoo, soap...). Although it was winter when we stayed, the outside offered a large wrap around porch with chairs and swing, a fire pit, and had a large outdoor area for kids to run around and play. One of our favorite conveniences was that there were Mohican biking/hiking trails right across from the property and the Mohican Dam and
other hiking trails were less than a half mile away! We will definitely be back soon!
