About this house rental
Nestled in Corolla, this attractive house for $707 per night is a great option for your next vacation. New Improvements for May 2024--Elevator access to all levels of home! Private pool now open for 2024 season; free pool heat on 7 night stays in April and May 2024! Brand new home for the 2020 season in the Ocean Lakes Section of Ocean Sands. Less than two minute walk to the beach access. Private pool with option to heat it in the spring and fall for an additional fee heated pool, hot tub, tiki bar with outdoor television, spacious living areas for the entire family. Also included; enjoy the Ocean Lakes Pool and Tennis club; a short three minute walk. Upscale furnishings, no detail is overlooked in this home. Ground floor features a rec room with full bath and adjacent built in bunk beds (two twins over two fulls), full laundry room, mini fridge with freezer, great for pool drinks! Second floor features a king master suite with private bath and private balcony, a queen suite with private bath and private balcony, two twins with access to back deck, queen with access to bath deck and a full bath. Third floor features kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including additional refrigerated storage in below counter beverage center. Everything you need to cook a feast for your family beach vacation! Living room with access to street side deck and pool side deck, powder room, king master suite with full bath and access to private deck. Additional powder room at split level and cozy ships watch room for reading or surfing the internet. All bedrooms have wall mounted flat screen smart televisions. The pool itself is 12'x25', depth is 3’6” to 5’6”. It has a concrete deck around it and then a beautiful area with artificial turf for lounge chairs etc. Pool heat is available in the spring and fall for an additional fee of $50/night. This home also has an outdoor covered tiki bar area with bar height outdoor chairs, propane grill and a television behind the bar. The entire area is fenced and private to this home. This home is adjacent to three other homes that can be rented together for a total of 23 bedrooms for families vacationing together. Off street parking for approximately four vehicles is provided at the home. We provide sheet and towel service EXCLUDING beach towels. (all sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and kitchen towels—beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in the bedrooms). Premises is restricted to use by Family Groups Only. A family group is defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing in one home. A non-family group is defined as gathering for an event, unmarried young adults, high school students, college students or any non-family group. EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED: Chaperoned or un-chaperoned non-family groups, fraternities, school or civic groups. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

When there were minor issues, property managers were very responsive! Excellent responsiveness! Property is great! Thank you!!
We did not like how busy the beach was, and the people who put out the rental chairs and umbrellas always took the prime locations so we had to hike our stuff a bit further up the beach which was not ideal.

We had 12 in our group, 6 adults and 6 kids, ages 5-15. The house had plenty of space for our group and in addition to being very clean, it is updated and the location is great! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it’s close to stores and restaurants too.
Communication with the owner was easy, they reached out to us a couple of times during the week via text just to check how things were going and any questions we had were responded to promptly.
Overall we had a wonderful week in Corolla and enjoyed our stay at Salt Shaker!

We had an awesome stay. The house was a nice size, quiet between floors, has an awesome pool and a short walk to the beach. It was also a nice location between Duck and the main part of Corolla. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay during our spring break! The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean! It had everything we needed. We ate mostly at home and it was equipped with everything that u would need. The heated pool was great in of itself! The kids loved it! Short couple minute walk to the beach which was very nice. Property manager was super responsive to any questions that we had. We would love to come back!

The home was beautiful, extremely clean, with a stocked kitchen - plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware. The heated pool and hot tub were a life saver, as the weather wasnt ideal (mid March). We did however, make it to the beach one day, which was a very short walk away. All the tvs were smart tvs, so very easy access to our streaming services. Rebecca, our host, was very responsive any time i had a question about the area or the property. We very much enjoyed our visit to the area, and the house - and hope to return this summer!

Great Space and very updated
Nice to have a place with so much space that feels homey still. Well maintained and the pool and hot tub were great. Had all the pans and dishes needed but make sure to bring any spices you need.

The home was beautiful, extremely clean, with a stocked kitchen - plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware. The heated pool and hot tub were a life saver, as the weather wasnt ideal (mid March). Beautiful home close to the beach!
We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful beach house. It’s close to the beach! The kids enjoyed the heated pool while the adult enjoyed the hot tub jacuzzi. The home is beautiful and very spacious! Rebecca was so nice to book with and text to check on us. She was very responsive and helpful! Hope to return when it’s a little warmer! We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at this home. It’s hard to find modern homes in outer banks. This home was incredibly beautiful, super clean, well equipped. They offer a heated pool all year long which was definitely hard to find, tv in the outdoor pool area. If you’re looking for a beautiful home that’s luxurious look no further!

Beautiful, new house with everything we were looking for. Agent was super-responsive to questions after arrival, and flexible with uncertainties about visitors in the Outer Banks early in the season. House has plenty of room to spread out. Very well-equipped, and the beach is a short walk away. Enjoyed the pool, grill, outdoor foosball table, and hot tub daily. Only suggestion would be a small fridge on the pool level. Highest recommendation!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach wasn't very far and the neighborhood was very quiet and clean. The heated pool was a great place for the kids to spend their down time. The kids really loved having a TV in every room. There was only one downside which is the wifi was really bad. It would constantly stop working and signal was poor in the upper levels. Hopefully the owners can install a new wifi system.One other thing to note is that from the balconies, everyone in the neighboring houses can see each other's backyards. So if you want privacy at the pool you will not get it in this neighborhood. Also it seems to be custom throughout the area that there are no blinds in the windows of the kitchen / main living area.
