Old City Pansiyon is excellent value for money. We love this part of Istanbul too. Close enough to walk to the main attractions if you want but still with an old neighbourhood vibe. The manager is an angel and welcomes us back like old friends.
It is older and it’s not luxury but the price reflects that.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The host is amazing. He tried to make are stay to feel like home. Everything is with walking distance.

The staff was kind and tried to be helpful
We were very tired after traveling, so we decided to stay the first night, but there was a strong unpleasant smell and the towels and bedsheets had visible stains, which made us uncomfortable using the facilities.
Although we had paid for three nights, we checked out the next morning and found another hotel. I hope the owners will address these issues, as the location has potential, but the current conditions were not as advertised.
