Wir geben dem MB Camp Singkil eine klare 10 von 10! Die wunderschön gepflegte Anlage direkt am Fluss ist ein ganz besonderer Ort und lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen ein. Unser geräumiges Haus mit eigenem Badezimmer für bis zu fünf Personen bot unglaublich viel Platz und es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht – sogar zwei elektrische Fliegenklatschen waren vorhanden. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, was vor allem auch an den drei unglaublich netten, zuvorkommenden und hilfsbereiten Herren vom Personal lag. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir außerdem die super leckere Küche: Das Essen ist nicht nur richtig gut, sondern auch preislich absolut top, weshalb wir auf unserer Durchreise extra noch einmal zum Abendessen vorbeigekommen sind. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!
Das einzige, was uns ein bisschen gestört hat, war, dass das Leitungswasser an den beiden Tagen leicht braun herauskam und etwas nach Eisen roch.

Only stayed one night on our way to the banyak islands and was about 30 minute drive to the boat launch spot for the personal speed boat to the islands. The staff helped arrange the ride and made it very easy. Property itself right on beautiful mangrove river with fishermen boating up and down. Property was well kept and facilities were clean and nice. Very hot shower and very cold ac and fan in the room which was very nice. No mosquitoes inside and not many outside. The town it is near didn’t seem like it had much to offer for travelers and seems like just a stopping in place en route to get to the ocean islands. Breakfast was super simple and on par with other Sumatran breakfasts but good enough and very cheap

Your best option for an overnight on the way to Banyak's.
Peaceful location.
Comfortable bedding.
Food options are very limited, especially if you have dietary restrictions which are tighter then just "vegetarian" + portions aren't big either...
This is a general comment valid for Banyak's too, that's the trade-off for experiencing the island life I guess... Although it would be possible to have both but all must be arranged through locals then (which isn't planned that easy on your 1st visit...).
