Brilliant location

We are very grateful to the receptionist named Karmacharya—he was incredibly helpful, especially when we wanted to send our luggage to our next hotel.
I am very disappointed with one of the female staff members (Indian) on duty on the morning of Saturday, September 5, 2026. When I asked about shipping luggage to another city, her response was unsatisfactory. Furthermore, when I asked for the name of the hotel staff member who had refused to accept our luggage—via the Booking.com inbox—there was no response.

The hotel is close to Ueno station
A small room looking out onto a concrete wall of the next building.. Very limited TV channels with even CNN only available overdubbed in Japanese. And a faulty light switch in the room.
Overall the hotel is expensive for what it offers
