Historic Craftsman Living, with Room to Spread Out

Set on a quiet street in Walla Walla’s Historic District, Craftsman on Whitman combines the character of a classic bungalow with an unusually flexible layout for groups of up to 12. Pioneer Park, Whitman College, and downtown Walla Walla are all within walking distance.

The main level is the heart of the home, with beautiful original Craftsman details, a newly remodeled kitchen and full bathroom, and comfortable living spaces for spending time together.

What makes this home especially unique is its separate upper-level living space. Accessed by an exterior staircase, the upstairs has its own living room, small kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, and bathroom. The two distinct spaces allow everyone to stay together on one property while still enjoying some independence and privacy.

It’s a particularly nice arrangement for extended families, families traveling with older children, groups of couples, or colleagues visiting Walla Walla together. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use, making the home especially convenient for larger groups and longer stays.

Outside, a fenced backyard and relaxed seating area provide another place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind with a bottle from the day’s tastings.

Spend the morning walking through the Historic District or nearby Pioneer Park, head out for an afternoon in wine country, or stroll downtown for tasting rooms and dinner. At the end of the day, everyone can come home together—with plenty of room to spread out.

Please Note: The main and upper levels are not connected from inside the home. The upper-level living area is accessed exclusively by an exterior staircase.
HOUSE RULES

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is at 4:00 PM or later. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early arrivals or late departures must be approved in advance and may include an additional fee.

GUESTS & OCCUPANCY

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Up to four additional daytime visitors are welcome, provided they do not stay overnight and all House Rules, including quiet hours and no events, are followed.

Exceeding the approved overnight occupancy without prior authorization may result in additional fees or termination of the stay.

Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted.

QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors and surrounding properties at all times.

SMOKING

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Additional cleaning or deodorization required as a result of smoking or vaping may be charged to the reservation.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

Pets are permitted only in designated pet-friendly homes. A non-refundable pet fee of $100 covers up to two dogs. Additional dogs must be approved in advance and may be subject to an additional fee.

Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees or termination of the stay.

Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law and are not subject to pet fees or pet restrictions. If you will be traveling with a service animal, we ask that you please let us know prior to arrival so our team is aware ahead of your stay.

Guests remain responsible for any damage caused by an animal during their stay.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION

Your reservation includes accidental damage protection through Safely, providing up to $3,000 in coverage for accidental damage that may occur during your stay.

Guests remain responsible for damage that is not covered, including damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violations of the House Rules.

POOLS, HOT TUBS & OTHER AMENITIES

Please follow all posted rules and operating instructions for property amenities, including pools, hot tubs, fireplaces, and BBQs.

Additional cleaning, repair, or servicing required due to misuse or excessive debris may be charged to the reservation. This includes draining and refilling a hot tub when necessary.

SEPTIC SYSTEMS

For homes on septic systems, only toilet paper may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, grease, food waste, or other materials that could damage the system.

SECURITY CAMERAS

Some homes utilize exterior security cameras at entry points for safety and security. Any cameras are disclosed in the individual property listing. There are no cameras inside the home.

COMMERCIAL USE

Commercial photography, filming, events, or other commercial use of the property is not permitted without prior approval.

CANCELLATION POLICY

DIRECT BOOKINGS

Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund.*
Cancellations made 14–29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund.*
Cancellations made 13 days or fewer before arrival are non-refundable.

*The $10 booking fee and credit card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) are non-refundable.

THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS

Reservations made through Airbnb, Vrbo, or Marriott Homes & Villas are subject to the cancellation policy and terms of the platform through which the reservation was booked. Please refer to your reservation details on that platform for the cancellation terms that apply to your stay.

Early departures are non-refundable.
