About this condo rental
Situated in Durango, this attractive condo for $295 per night is a great choice for your next trip. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** City of Durango Permit #2019-300 This 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom 2,000 square foot, single level luxury condo (Unit 1A) is all about it's exceptional location as it is located in heart of Durango's tourist district. Walk to all the downtown area restaurants, shops and entertainment. There are six restaurants alone on the building's block. The condo is also one block from the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot and Durango's downtown movie theater. Lifestyle in this condo is like staying at a luxury resort with dining and entertainment options adjacent and of the highest quality. The condo features a cocktail arcade game (With 60 classic games), a fully stocked kitchen, high speed WIFI, washer/dryer, Cable TV and a deck with a BBQ grill. The building has electronic security and elevator access to all levels with secure, fully-enclosed underground parking for two vehicles (garage height is 7'6"). Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level) 2nd Bedroom - Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level) 3rd Bedroom - Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level) Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units in the Mears Building, are NOT pet friendly. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Overall a wonderful experience with our Mears House unit. The only minor quibbles were A.) the A/C unit struggled to maintain 71 degrees, and 2.) neighbors dogs barking at 6:30 a.m.Will definitiely be looking for an opportunity to return to this property in the beautiful town of Durango.

Mears House was the perfect place for our family. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect base to explore the towns of Silverton and Ouray and mountain hikes. But, the best feature was the location...just 3-10 minutes walk to the best restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

The condo was just perfect for three couples. The proximity to the train, downtown, restaurants and walking trails could not be better. At first we did find the different door codes confusing, but we quickly adapted. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Great place and we would stay there again.

structure, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
It was a plus to have your own two designated parking spaces in the basement.
The only snag was poor instruction regarding code for the elevator ( which was not given till after our arrival and multiple phone calls) very confusing.
I would still definitely recommend but be sure you get clear instruction on code for both apartment and elevator..

Our stay was lovely. The apartment was excellent and met our needs exceptionally. The openness of the living room, dining room and kitchen created the perfect environment for us to host the bride and groom and grooms parents for dinner one night before the big wedding festivities began later in the week. The week was magical - thank you!

We were in walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops and just enough off the main strip so we didn’t hear any street noise.
The condo was clean and spacious, perfect for the 3 of us; a well stocked kitchen, games table, nice fireplace and big screen TV.
I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Durango and needing a home away from home vibe.

What a wonderful place! Loved everything about this Condo. The location is primo – walking distance to the Durango & Silverton train station, and lots of downtown restaurants and stores. (Michel’s Corner Crepes and Jean Pierre Bakery very close and highly recommended!) Also easy walking distance to River Walk, grocery store, etc.
The space was as described – a luxury condo, worked great for two couples. The primary suite is huge, along with the en suite bathroom and the large walk-in closet. The first guest bedroom was smaller but nice, and a short walk down the hall to second bathroom. The second guest bedroom is on the other side of the condo, so a walk through the living area to get to the second bathroom. Probably renovating our closets after living with this well thought out closet system!
It was very well equipped with all the kitchen items – lots of plates, glasses, cookware, blender, coffee-maker, etc. It was well-stocked with all the basic supplies for getting started. We appreciated the extra touches – the full soft-soap dispensers in both bathrooms (re-fillable, so saving some plastic). We had a chance to turn on the gas fireplace briefly a couple of evenings when it got cool – nice touch.
Highly recommend this place, and will be our go-to next trip to Durango.

Cute, very clean condo that was very well equipped (much better than average) in a perfect location. It was hard to get cool enough at night so several in our party didn't get much sleep, a couple of burners on the stove wouldn't lite and there was no wifi. The property management company couldn't get it fixed and my husband had to be able to work so we left more than 24 hours early to get him home where he could have an internet connection for work so it was a bit of a bummer but the time that we did spend in Durango was a lot of fun.

The condo itsel was nice. The first 3 days we had to use the plunger for the master bathroom. it was repaired after 3 days. The air conditioner just was never cool. Even if we set it at 72 degrees it never was cooler than 77 or 78. It was difficult to breathe.

The electronic entry system made it easy for each of us to come and go without any fuss. Loved the master suite and the gas fireplace! We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was conveniently located in downtown. We could walk to shops and restaurants and the River Trail easily. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The only item I would change is having down alternative pillows and comforters available for those allergic to down.

We really enjoyed our stay in Durango. The condo location was perfect! 30 minutes from Purgatory and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and bars. Unit was very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and spacious.
