The kitchen is easy to work in and of course has all the amenities that you’ll need to cook up those scrumptious island meals. Eat inside or dine outside on the screened-in lanai! The living room is comfortable with a smart TV for streaming (no cable), and the house does have high-speed wireless internet through Spectrum. The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bath with tub/shower combo, and the guest bedrooms have a queen and a full/double bed. There’s also a full guest bath also with a tub/shower combo. Both bathrooms have combination tub/showers. From this convenient location, explore old Hilo town with its great farmers market, historical museums, wonderful restaurants and more. we enjoyed our stay, enjoyed the neighborhood. It was a peaceful and comfortable home base for exploring the big island. Minor note to the management people: There is a leak from the roof in the lanai by the door (over the rug).

A pleasant Hawaiian type house. We loved it, but if you want TV and air conditioning, this is not your place. Inconvient to have to take trash because of an early morning flight.

We had a good time staying at this house in Hilo. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to downtown Hilo and several beaches. It is also very easy to get to Volcano National Park.

It wasnt filthy, but it could have been cleaner. Everything was neat & tidy. There were cockroaches, like a lot of them. We kept no food out. But for example after washing the dishes and letting the drain there were tons of roaches on the counter in the sink on the dishes that were just washed. Other than that it was decent. Was in a convenient location to the places we were visiting, nice quiet neighborhood. Wouldnt recommend really cooking due to the roaches.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilo Hale Kaumana during our recent trip in January 2023, to visit family members who live nearby, and still have our own place with other family who came with us. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms along with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen w/dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washer and dryer (right in carport) and lanai. Very nice place to stay, close to downtown Hilo and nearby beaches, and other sites. Would definitely rent this house again! Mahalo! :)

1st time with this process. Super easy, everyone I was in contact with was helpful in every way. The rental is comfortable and clean within 10 minutes of many of the attractions in Hilo. We enjoyed so much about the neighborhood. Quiet and charming, right down to the morning chicken parade and the peeping toads at night. Highly recommended for those looking for R&R.

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful 3bd/2bath refurbished home with new furniture. It was very clean up on arrival, has all the kitchen items and more, even beach items as well. Close to Hilo for restaurants and shopping, farmer's markets, and beaches, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Felt like home as we cooked and did laundry before travelling home. Thank you so much, will definitely stay here again and recommend this home as well! Concierge was responsive with recommendations, which is greatly appreciated!

Great time in Hilo
My kids and I had a great stay at this house in Hilo. Everything we needed was provided , communication was great, check in and out was easy. Location is close to town and shopping and restaurants. Some houses on the street were run down but it is Hilo after all but the property itself was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the lanai. We would definitely stay here again . Thank you!

We (3 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for 5 weeks and enjoyed it a lot. The house is in a quiet neighborhood on the end of a dead end street. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked and baked a lot! The lawn could have been mown more often since it grows fast here in Hilo. On rainy days, there was a little water dripping from the ceiling in the Lanai, but no big issue at all. Robinette was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely go there again!

We made the Big Island and Hilo our introduction to Hawaii. The house was well situated and allowed us to explore downtown and beyond. Really helpful hosts too who provided useful suggestions that made our stay more memorable. We'd go back.

Highly Recommended!! Nice little cute place
My family enjoyed the stay. The house was spotless, organized, and welcoming. The house's location was also good, near to the grocery shops. It's suitable for a family of 4. The only suggestion I have about the place is about stocking a little more basic grocery items like coffee powder, sugar, a few teabags. Since I did grocery shopping before checking in, I didn't find it difficult to make coffee/tea in the morning. But, Overall, my family loved the place, and we highly recommend the same.

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood
If you're looking for the perfect base for your stay in Hilo, then this house is it! We found it to be sparkling clean with a well-equipped kitchen, which is very important to us as we cook a lot of our meals to save money on expensive restaurants. There were ants in the kitchen, but it's Hawaii. Bugs can't be entirely eliminated and we understand this.
The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of the ever-present wild chickens who will crow you awake in the morning, and the coqui frogs, who will sing you to sleep at night. There's even a friendly cat who came from next door to visit. With only a 10 min. car trip to downtown, it's very easy to get to grocery stores, other shopping, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

I took my daughter to Hilo to move into the dorms and we were lucky enough to stay here! Cute, clean, and close to campus and town. It was so nice to have a kitchen to cook in and a place to do our laundry.
