It was great! We were there during a rash of storms and tornadoes, so it was a little unnerving due to a lack of phone signal :) Nothing crazy happened, and I actually enjoyed the storms. No flooding or issues... we were completely safe. We loved the turkeys, blue jays, cardinals, frogs, and other wildlife. The views were lovely!

Pretty, quaint cabin. Feels like you're in the boonies, but you really aren't. It's so peaceful & quiet. Great fire pit. The fireplace was nice after being out in the cold. Bed was comfortable. Really close to a nice hike at Panther Den Trailhead.
Needs to be cleaned a little better. We moved the ottoman & one of the chairs to play a game & there was stuff all over the floor. They claim to have a large assortment of DVDs & Cable TV. However, most of the movies were old & the only stations on TV were CBS, NBC, FOX, & ABC. There was one other that was hit or miss on whether there was a decent show on. Definitely bring something to do if you just want to stay on the property &/or the weather is bad.
