This was a phenomenal property that exceeded my expectations in all areas. It was clean, accommodating, comfortable, and the ocean views were incredible. I appreciated that the rental came with a golf cart, a pool and jacuzzi, private beach access, and more! Additionally, I had the pleasure to meet the hosts in person. They were very sweet, kind hearted, and provided great customer service. Anytime I visit Catalina Island in the future, I will be rebooking. 100% recommend.

The views were amazing from the balcony and when walking the resort property. The location was close to Avalon but secluded away from all the noise and tourist hub hub. There are many, many stairs on the property, so be ready to do some climbing.
The transportation from getting off the ferry to Hamilton Cove resort is not self evident. I had downloaded the Circuit app. on my phone which allowed me to reserve a ride that I met near the Ferry. It was my first time using the app. so I didn't see where the app. was telling me to meet my ride. The Cabrillo Mole is the name of the dock where the ferry is located, not a store, FYI.

The owner was very quick to respond to our questions, which we appreciated, along with suggestions about restaurants, etc. The villa is decorated beautifully, and is very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on our private balcony so much that we bought groceries at Vons supermarket in Avalon, and ate most of our meals on the balcony. It was very relaxing, watching the cruise ship tenders go back and forth to Avalon. It was also fun watching the endless coming-and-going of the golf carts on the street below, and the very-tame mule deer that wander around the property. The unit was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was very comfortable, too, and the wifi worked great. It was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed at.
Although Hamilton Cove is a short taxi ride from town, having the owner's golf cart for our personal use once we arrived made it all worthwhile, and we appreciated having the golf cart to use anytime we wanted to explore (renting a golf cart in town is very expensive per-hour). We were able to get a ride back into the town at the end of our stay with some other guests we met staying in another villa, but the taxi service works well, too.

The Property is well situated a place right on the middle where a person can contemplate the Ocean and the Pool.
The Property had too many stairs from the bottom up are 50 stairs and this has to be very clear on to the person who will be renting the property for a few days because it’s up and down.
The place was not clean the bathrooms smell like pee.
A person who rents this property has to be aware that the golf car is old very old and smells like burned gas all the time while riding it…Very Smelly.
