About this house rental
Riverview Cottage is a comfortable holiday cottage and a real home from home.
Situated in the village of Breasclete it is centrally situated on the island making it an ideal holiday base. It is a twenty five minute drive from the town of Stornoway which is the hub of the island and boasts its own collection of small shops.
You are a five minute drive from the famous Callanish Standing Stones and Visitor Centre and a fifteen minute drive from the nearest beach. Lewis has some beautiful beaches and other interesting tourist attractions. There is plenty to see and do. Once you have explored Lewis you can easily manage a day trip to Harris from the cottage.

Everything you could possibly need for a break on the Isle of Lewis is at hand in this wonderful bungalow.From food preparation, consumption and subsequent cleaning to laundry services and comfortable furnishings with superb views to boot.Both of my queries were answered swiftly by Ann, the host, and the information about the cottage provided was comprehensive but not overbearing.Not only the interior, but the garden was well kept, tidy and clean with excellent seating options.The shower was excellent , with plenty of pressure and lots of heat too!

This is an amazing cottage, very comfortable, warm, clean and cosy. Very well situated for exploring north or south. Ann was very helpful and we would definitely recommend this location.
