I loved the property. I will preface that I speak Spanish and had rented a car, so getting to the city center and asking for anything was extremely easy. But they were super flexible with me; I had only book two nights but ended up extending my stay twice and they allowed it. I unfortunately didn’t get to use the terrace for breakfast due to early hike times, but it was beautiful upstairs. I had the private room and that was also very comfortable; I loved taking a hot shower after the long days.

This hostel is great value for money for getting your own room and bathroom for a solo traveller. As someone who was hiking the Huayhuash hike it was the perfect place to stay before and after as it has an amazing roof terrace you can chill in all day (with fast WIFI) and have a simple breakfast at (Egg, jam, bread and coffee). If you are also taking a night bus in and out of Huaraz, early check in is possible and you are able to chill in the roof terrace all day until your night bus back to Lima. They also offer laundry service in which they air dry your clothes in the sun and tour options organised to ensure you get those acclimitisation hikes in.
I was on the first floor initially which proved to be quite noisy from the front door and all the early tour pickups meant at all times of the day there was noise echoing and people checking in and out. However my stay on the 4th floor the second time proved to be much quieter.

The rooftop deck is amazing for views! It was very quiet at night due to being a bit on the outskirts. It was kept clean and tidy.
Hot water stopped around 8-9pm, so I had two very cold showers. The pillows seemed old and caused my eyes to itch. A bit out of the way from the main drag. The staff mixed up our reservation and kept thinking we were suppose to check out early. They didn't restock towels and kept leaving us with only one.
