Remodeled in November 2019 This modern, two-story condo on historic Lafayette Street is the home-away-from-home you seek! Our newly remodeled property boasts an open layout, tons of natural light, quartz counters, stainless appliances, hardwood and tile floors, 2.5 bathrooms, a walk-in master closet, 3 Smart TVs and Wi-Fi. The outdoor space features 1st and 2nd floor decks overlooking a secluded, grassy backyard, a gas grill and brand new dining table! There are two parking spaces. A garage offers plenty of storage space and increased security for your bicycles and other personal belongings. We are conveniently located one block from a multi-million-dollar park (and dog park), 5 blocks from the Washington Mall, 4 blocks from the supermarket and .6 miles from the beach, straight down Madison (with a beach box at Queen St. from Memorial Day to Labor Day to store beach gear). Our proximity to the Physick’s Estate and Southern Mansion put you front and center during Cape May’s magical celebrations of Halloween and Christmas! If your goal is family fun and bonding, with the option for everyone to have their space come the end of the day, this quiet, welcoming condo will have you returning time and again. Currently, we only offer rental periods of seven or fewer nights. The calendar will flag for you whether there is a 7 night minimum during the timeframe in which you are interested. We look forward to our home being part of the joy you experience and one of the places where you and your loved ones create memories while visiting this favorite seaside resort!

Our first time to Cape May and our first vrbo experience was amazing. The property is in a great location, the owner is very helpful and easy to contact, and the house is modern and very clean. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend time with family or friends in Cape May!

We stayed for a long weekend during Christmas in Cape May. The house was cute & decorated for the season. It was in a great location, very close to the center of Cape May near shops & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here with our small dog for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary in November. Patti made it very seamless as we had no issues during our stay and was responsive in communication leading up to our stay. House was fully equipped with everything (we chose to bring our own linens) and slider door to backyard was convenient for our dog. Only one neighbor attached to this house as it’s a double but no issues there. House is clean and very well decorated. We have stayed at many pet friendly places in the past and this one is one of our favorites for sure!
Our first time to Cape May was one to remember. Lots of great BYOB restaurants and nice bar lounge with live pianists. The beautiful weather helped too especially for a trolley ride.

We had a lovely stay in Cape May with our newborn and small dog. Unfortunately the weather didn’t turn out great for us to fully enjoy the grill and outdoor space, but even without that we had a great time. The place is fully equipped and has everything you need. Short walk to town and beach. Would love to come back again.

The house exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the house was beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our meals on the back patio. My youngest brother is an executive chef at a country club in Sarasota, FL and made himself right at home in the kitchen which was well-appointed. One for the memory book.

This house was perfect for our girls’ getaway weekend. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The house itself was cozy and charming and we could tell that the owner put a lot of thought into the all the decorations. It was only a 15 minute walk to the shopping area and just around the corner from our favorite restaurant The Washington Inn. We may have to make this our annual place to stay in Cape May!

We loved our stay at Cape Mackie! It was such a cute place & very clean! Patti had everything & thought of every detail to the home to give it that beach feel. Everyone in our family had so much fun during our first Cape May vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the house especially the outdoor spaces. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved their room with the bunk beds. The location of the house was ideal with everything only a short walk away. Our family LOVES Cape May and staying at Cape Mackie makes our trip a five star experience. It was our 4th year staying there! Everything is spotless and fresh, clean and comfortable. The decor is gorgeous and classy. The kitchen/house is stocked with pretty much everything you might need. The outdoor spaces are lovely, as well. Plenty of storage and breathing room. You can walk to the Washington Street Mall and 2 different parks/playgrounds. We always drive to get closer to the beach but there’s always plenty of free parking on Queen Street where the beach box is (another amazing extra that is offered with this rental!) Beach tags are also provided. You won’t regret booking this rental - we are already excited for next year!

We were very happy with our stay at Patti and Jay's place, Cape Mackie. The location was excellent as it was only a short bike ride or walk to the Acme, downtown shops, and the beach. If you're looking to stay with your dog(s), there is a decent-sized mulched dog park within a short walk from the property.
The space itself felt much larger in person than how it appears in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The cleaning crew did an excellent job before our stay as the place was spotless and smelled fantastic upon entry. The only thing missing in our eyes was a fenced-in yard, especially being so close to a busier road, but it did not take away from our experience.
5/5 stars and we would love to stay here again in the future!

This home has everything you need and is beautifully furnished. We have stayed in dog friendly homes before and most if not all had an ick factor to them. This home was spotless. I would stay here with or without our dog.
I appreciate Patti’s attention to detail in the guidelines. Check in to check out was a smooth process.
The property is within walking distance to many things which was also a plus. It was a little cooler so our beach days were limited. I am sure having the beach box available is a plus. Overall our stay was excellent.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Cape Mackie! The house was clean and just as shown in pictures. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is amazing for both getting into town and to the beach. We loved it! Communication with owners was also really easy. Highly recommend and plan to stay again. :)

Very nice. Clean. Well equiped, from kitchen to beach toys. Ambience lije someobe's beach home. Walking distance to restaurants, mall etc. Perfect for families and pets. Quiet.
Probably not the best choice for seniors due to stairs and difficulty making bunk beds against walls. Not much head clearance on bunk beds so one person who needed to sleep with her head at 45% slept on the sofa.
I was taken aback with final instructions stating we were responsible for washing sheets & towels since we paid a cleaning fee. Even state parks in Va and West Va provide linens. Instructions also stated that paper products may not be available. There were ample paper products & we brought . Good dining suggestions, all excellant restaurants.

The house was exactly as described. Very comfortable to stay there and easy access to the beach and the downtown. Close to dog park for the dog and the beautiful old homes of Cape May. We really enjoyed our brief getaway there.

Patti and Jason have created a beautiful and comfortable space. We felt right at home right away, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a minor hiccup when checking in, and Patti was immediately on top of making sure everything got figured out. Otherwise, we didn't encounter any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is excellent for quick access to everything in Cape May. We hope to be back in the future for another stay!

Loved this property. It was very clean and easy to check in. Located within a 12 to 15 min. Walk to the beach and the Washington Mall. We even were able to use the beach chairs available to us to watch the sunset on the beach. Loved it and will be back.

We have rented many homes over the years at the NJ shore. Patty and Jason's home is by far my favorite. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean and everything you need for a great vacation. Hoping to return for a winter get away and then again in the spring.

House is clean, decorated so nicely, and walkable to Cape May Mall & Congress Hall which we loved! The only negative is the house cleaning service showed up at 9:50am on our check out day & we felt very rushed. It would be nice to have an extra 15 minutes to cleavage the property.

The house was lovely . Great location..
it was very clean too . However, I have to mention that the cleaning products used had an overpowering smell that was really too strong and made it uncomfortable . I only suggest you tell your cleaning service to water down the cleaning solution or use less. Sorry I saying this but I hope it helps .
