Daisy on reception was exceptionally helpful and supportive. Restaurant staff very good and food quality was good. Housekeeping staff were pleasant and helpful.

It should be made clear on the inclusive rate booking that breakfast consists of one course. Plus orange juice/tea or coffee. Granola is offered as an alternative to the cooked breakfast but unusually no cereal is offered otherwise. Lovely big room and comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small and there was no toilet roll holder. No hooks to hang clothes or used towels on in the bathroom. Lack of attention to detail in areas less visible but still visible to the public-i.e discarded rubbish in external stairwell areas.

Our room was changed on arrival to one with no self catering area or sofa to sit on. Five hours drive two tired adults who just wished to relax. If our room selected had been changed why didn’t we receive notification of this before arriving. Room we were given was small, bathroom needed a good clean, and only one chair to share. Wish we had gone to our normal hotel. Very noisy from the room above woke us up very late at night and again early in the morning and we normally rise around 6.30am ourselves.
