Excellent food and beverage offer, staff were attentive and friendly, whole pub was clean and the local community welcoming. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday evening, booking recommended for restaurant as there aren't that many tables, the food portions were generous. Breakfast a must, infinite choice of quality well cooked ingredients.
Not much could have been better for the price point, tiny thing - car parking a bit confusing and a little tight but not difficult once you understood it.

A really comfortable stay, including a great in-room selection of hot drinks (always impressed when decaf coffee is provided!). Everything you need is provided and the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. It’s also an amazing location for going off and hiking some of the major peaks.
I ate there twice in the evening and it was not only a broad menu, but the food was good, too.
To be expected when staying at a pub, there is noise from the bar until closing time. Less expected were the church bells every 15 minutes! But these are minor points and I was armed with my Snoozeband so I could drown out the noise when I wanted to sleep.

I highly recommend this place to stay. Wish we had time to stay for longer but will definitely be back next year. Every part of the building was really nice and welcoming. The bedroom was very high standard, very clean, comfortable and lots of nice little touches that made it feel homely. Loved having the balcony with the amazing views. We had dinner whilst we were there and it was exceptional. We both had the fish and it was very tasty and fresh and could tell it was home made. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
