About this house rental
Situated in Miramar Beach, this attractive house for $479 per night is a great option for your next trip. Experience Destin / Miramar Beach in a new way, try out a house near the beach with a private pool! Our vacation rental was designed for a comfortable stay with a boutique feel. We also have another property near by, Google VRBO 4495611 Soft Shores, it is a short walk to the Surf Hut. The 4 room designs are inspired by the wonderful area we live in and are all separate. Relax in the large private pool with heat as an option. We provide a free 6 seater golf cart year round. Home has secured wifi, 50"+ Smart tvs in every room, 75" in the living room and garage parking as well. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed designing the space for you! Destin, Commons, Silver Sands, Publix, Starbucks and Grand Boulevard are with in a few miles! Sandestin Golf, Big Kahunas, Harbor Walk Village and Crab Island all with in a 10 min drive as well! All along scenic rout there are scooter rentals, Pompano Joes, Crab Trap and Henderson State park. We are located in a perfect spot to get to anything you need. 30A, Seaside, Grayton, South Walton, Rosemary are all 20 mins away if you head due east on HWY 98. We recommend purchasing travel insurance at time of booking. Travel insurance overrides the use of our policy. Paradise Retreat is centrally located and has two gates, one on the north for access to HWY 98 and the south gate which is on the scenic road. The neighborhood also has sidewalks for evening walks down to the beach or to the Dollar store just outside the gate. Driveway hold 4 regular size vehicles, 2 if large vehicles. The garage will hold one vehicle with the golf cart inside. Parking is prohibited on the street and the golf cart is never to be parked in the grass or blocking the sidewalk. We have a white binder inside that has all your info for WiFi, beach access, garbage days, local eateries, check out list and maps. You are give two hard keys to the house so no keypad to worry about or remember the code. We allows pets! A max of two dogs. Pool heat is $425/week set at 85-90 degrees. If you're a group of students, or your group is not all over 25, then you must inquire first for approval before booking. This does not apply to families. Guest is responsible for canceling any reservation for any reason. Soft Shores Vacation rentals LLC will not issue a cancelation on their end for any reason, the guest will have to initiate that on their own. Again, under no circumstances will we initiate a cancelation or fulfill a request for us to cancel. Guest will cancel reservations 100% on their end if they wish to receive proper refund. High-speed Wi-Fi Internet included. Beach restaurants, Captain Dave's Seafood, Kenny D's, and Pompano Joe's restaurants are within walking distance with many restaurants of all types just a short distance away. For those who want to shop Southern Comfort is located close to Silver Sands Outlet Mall which is a vacation in its own right. Shoppers have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike, and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill. More great shopping can be found at Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, & Maui Nix Surf Shop to name a few. Stop for a bite to eat at Panera Bread, Chipotle, Red Brick Pizza, Zoe's Kitchen, or one of the other restaurants on site. More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids' playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held throughout the year at Destin Commons. Visit AMC Destin Commons to catch the latest releases. Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village. Grand Boulevard offers stores such as Billabong, Brooks Brothers Country Club, J. Crew-at-the-beach, Sunglass Hut, & Tommy Bahama's Emporium as well as great dining at Tommy Bahama's, as well as great dining at Tommy Bahama’s, Flemings Prime Steak House, PF. Changs, Travinia Italian & Mitchell’s Fish Market. There is also a Boulevard 10 Cinema. For the golfers, several championship golf courses are within a short drive of the property including 4 courses in Sandestin, Regatta Bay, Kelly Plantation, and many more. Big Kahunas waterpark is a short drive and has numerous water slides and a lazy river, or visit The Track where mini-golf, water bumper boats, go-karts, and bungee jumping can be enjoyed. We had a wonderful week staying at this property. This was our first visit to Destin and this house was perfect and had everything we needed. House was clean and comfortable. We loved the heated pool and used it everyday. House is very close to the beach and the golf cart made it so easy to get there. Ryan was great to deal with also and quick to respond when I had a question. Would definitely stay here again!

We actually found this home while we were staying at another property and wanted to extend our stay by another week. (The house we were staying at was already booked for the week)
We were so glad we did! The house was perfect for us! Great layout, very clean and had everything we needed.
Also the owner who is also the property manager is absolutely awesome to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay! The pool was perfect and we had everything we needed in the house. Floors appeared clean, but from the 1st hour after arrival we realized we had to wear slides at all times or feet/socks would be very dirty (it wasnt a big deal, so no need to reach out to owner). That is truly tue only complaint and can be easily fixed with a new mop. Would def recommend this porperty and would love to stay here again! (In the future we would request a gas golf cart instead of battery bc the longevity of charge wasn't sufficient for our ventures out and about.)

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and all the comforts of home. Pool was very nice and we enjoyed it everyday. Golf cart is awesome and perfect for beach trips or going to local restaurants. Having access to a private beach is a big plus. Beach is beautiful and clean. For Gulf water, it is very clear and so refreshing. We loved Destin and will be back!

We had a great time! The house was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses for all of us. The pool area was very nice and we loved the golf cart! It made getting to and from the beach so quick and easy!

This property matched the pictures very well. We were looking for beds for 9, a pool out back and proximity to the beach. All the boxes were ticked off. Our family came from the Virginia Beach, California and Louisiana. We had a beach engagement under the stars lit by tiny flashlights for the couple. Easy access to the Dollar General just outside the gate of the subdivision made last minute needs a quick walk or golf cart ride. Even with days of rain, we had some sun and we took advantage of that pool. Large capacity washer and dryer made the upkeep of beach towels easy. I say I will definitely keep this home on my list for return trips. Thanks Ryan for a great stay.

Everything was perfect about house. Great communication from owner. Pool was nice size, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Kitchen supplies were good. Beds were comfortable. The golf cart was a nice bonus and we throughly enjoyed our family time taking a little cruise. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Just wish the weather would have been better for some beach time but the pool made up for it.

We vacation to this areas every year for a week for 15 years and this is the best property we have ever stayed at. We drove the golfcart every day. Went to the beach and sat out every day, swam in the pool everyday and the house is decorated so nicely. The owners are the nicest and respond so quickly. We had an amazing week and will keep this property as our go to from now on! Hands down the best property we’ve ever had!! Thank you guys so much!!

Ryan was excellent to deal with, available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Very honest, could have charged us to heat the pool but said the heat wasn’t necessary.

House is a short walk from the beach or a golf cart was included with the rental. Very easy to drop the family off at the gate to the beach then take the golf car a block away to be parked while we enjoyed the beach.

Absolutely perfect for our family vacation!! House is exactly as advertised and pictured. Owner was super nice and prompt with the couple questions we had. Location to the beach combined with the backyard pool and golf cart was perfect for our four young kids too. Felt like home away from home and we will 100% be back in the future.

It was our family’s first time in Destin and let me just say we couldn’t be any more happier with our stay! Let me just list the stuff we were happy with: Communication with Ryan and Sarah, easy checkin/check-out, house cleanliness, we felt very safe in the neighborhood, the amenities that were provided, 10min walk to the beach or 2 min drive, the golf cart! ( the kids loved it), and the friendliness of the neighbors. In all we loved our time there and will be returning!!

This house is amazing!!! The house, the golf cart, the HEATED pool (for the 30s and 40s weather), and just the location overall. The owners are so responsive and work with you. We came to the house early after a 14ish hour drive and they let us check in early and were even flexible with our stay (we extended our stay) would definitely come back!! We love it here!

There were 9 in our party. We all had plenty of space. Each bedroom has a large flat screen tv! And the TV in the living room was huge! The pool was awesome and so was the use of the golf cart. The beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys saved us a lot of money too! It was a little far from the beach, we didn’t mind that cause we had the golf cart But even using the golf cart it was a long walk from the golf cart parking to the beach.

Amazing Experience
From the start to the end of our trip, Ryan was amazing to work with! Our family trip was nothing less than fantastic! The house was perfect and super clean, the pool was great to relax in after spending time at the beach, and the location was great! You couldn’t pick a better location in Destin to stay at! The golf cart is added bonus and made our trip to the beach easy and down scenic highway a blast! We are looking forward to our next trip to Destin and will most definitely be staying here!

Fabulous property at our favorite beach!
Our family of 9 (plus our dog) had the absolute best time during our stay! The house was perfect! The amenities, the layout, the golf cart, THE POOL!! All superb! There was a slight delay when checking in, but Ryan went above and beyond in making it right! He was excellent to communicate with and even took time to warn us of the high temperatures and UV. Very nice, absolutely beautiful
Stayed here for a short week on business and it was perfect. Super quite and clean. Pool was really nice, especially with the heat option. Probably better for a family than just one person but great for that too.
