Great location , beautiful neighborhood, can walk to cliff walk and Easton beach. Inn is just as pictured. Clean and quiet. Modern touches in room. Home baked good in the morning and individualized fresh fruit cups. My husband and I love Newport and would defiantly stay here again. Lauren

We stayed for one night and want to go back for a week or more!! The Homeaway is in a pretty neighborhood, within walking distance of the beach or downtown Newport! On the grounds, the Homeaway had a beautiful Gazebo which made for the perfect opportunity to enjoy the warm summer night air. Our room, the Newport was perfect, very comfortable/ picturesque. Did not meet the management in person which wasn’t a problem because they have an easy check in system. Management was readily available through a brief phone call and texts, very accommodating. We can’t say enough nice thing about the Homeaway, it was a perfect alternative to a 5 star hotel.

Booked this property last minute to come into Newport for the tennis tournament. We found a great rate for this location (not normal for July in Newport), so we assumed there had to be a catch. We were wrong. The property was lovely. The room was so cute and had everything we needed. It had the convenience and luxury of a high-end hotel, but with the quaintness of a B&B. The location was within walking distance to everything - but without being in the chaos of the center of town. The host stayed in communication with us the entire time to make sure we had a smooth check-in and a pleasant trip. Excellent stay!

My son and I came into Newport to watch some tennis matches. We were able to park at our VRBO and walk everywhere we wanted to go, including the Tennis matches, Cliff walk and downtown restaurants. The house is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and the room is perfect for a short stay. It has a kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. Also, there was fresh fruit and baked goods in the morning and Keurig machine. Also, beach towels and umbrellas in case you need them. I highly recommend this place!!

The Admiral Sims House is the perfect place to stay and relax in Newport! The amenities are generous and the rooms are 5 Star level! The bathroom had everything you could need from full-size shampoo and conditioner to great body wash and makeup towels. The room was spacious with a fireplace and seating and had a well-stocked kitchenette! The room and bathroom are IMMACULATELY clean. The closet is big with plentiful velvety-flocked hangers. Staying here is a treat that should not be missed! We walked everywhere- even to and from Goat Island! Don't miss a chance to enjoy your vacation from the Admiral Sims House! In the lobby, there are beach towels and umbrellas as well as all of the guides and info you would need for a great vacay and sightseeing! Book this place, now!

Check In was super easy. Owners are kind and responsive. The light breakfast offered each morning was very helpful and delicious. We slept well here! We ended up spending much of our time down by the wharf and Thames street which would have been a 16-20 min walk from this place. With the hills this was not doable with all the other walking we did each day exploring Newport so we drove to the transportation and parked there at the beginning of each day.

This is an amazing place to stay! It is a beautiful, spotless inn with fantastic hospitality! Check-in is easy; hosts are friendly and helpful; they even provide a continental type breakfast in the morning and some snacks are available during the day. Location is in a quiet area within walking distance of the Cliff Walk.

The area was nice and quite. We were a nice 15 minute walk to the center of Newport. The host made things very inviting by also providing a nice little assortment of breakfast snacks in the morning. Will definitely look forward to returning to this rental in the future.

We had the most amazing time staying here! Check-in was very easy, the place was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our short stay! The fireplace was an awesome addition for a winter evening :) Will definitely be back again next time!

My daughter and I came to Newport to celebrate her 21st birthday and couldn't ask for a sweeter place to stay!! Everything was so tastefully decorated and sparkly clean, the check-in and check-out process were super simple and parking is right on the premises so no worries with that. The kitchenette is wonderful to have and we very much appreciated the gas fireplace since we were staying in December. Fresh fruit and homemade breads for breakfast were a nice touch. The host was wonderful and very responsive and was happy to give us recommendations in the area. We will definitely be back!!

We were extremely impressed with this apartment. It was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished, just a joy to be in. Even though we never saw our host, Marie, the was helpful as could be. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the action on the water. This place goes into our VRBO hall of fame.

This property exceeded all our expectations. Perfect location for walking downtown. Plenty of easy & free parking and the apartment is incredible. So clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. They have thought of everything! We have had 4 vacation rentals and 1 hotel in this same downtown area of Newport and can say without a doubt, that this is the place we will definitely be coming back to. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Literally nothing I would change.
