Lovely lodge overall. It was perfect for us and our dog. Lodge was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay
Small thing we noticed was there was no seal on the bottom of the shower screen in family bathroom. Which made it hard to use without making everything wet.

The lodge itself was beautiful, the hot tub engineer had to come out on the 2nd day as apparently it wasn't heating properly and he changed the circuit board, we had no issues but afterwards it was even warmer so it made it brilliant when it went icy at night. Our dogs loved the walks and the dog friendly pub on site. The staff were lovely with us. The food in the pub was gorgeous. The bed(s) were so comfortable and I need to know where the bedding was from because it was so cosy! There's so much space that you wouldn't normally get going to a standard park. The wine and biscuits on arrival was a wicked touch. Thank you and we will be back!

The modern decor and good base for Lake District and North Pennines
The hot tub was cold for the whole of the first day. The response from the host was it shouldn't be like that unless you pressed something, in which we hadnt. Asked if someone could take a look, we was told we would be charges to have someone out. Managed to use hot tub briefly on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day the hot tub didn't work. Not worth money paid as we couldn't use it for two days.
