About this house rental
Relaxing 2 bed, 1.5 bath cabin tucked away in the woods. It is only half a mile to Silver Lake and is close to all of the local attractions. The cabin has an open floor plan and is comfortably furnished with a fireplace, 2 TVs and WiFi. It also has a full kitchen and amenities such as a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, as well as two sofa beds. Outdoors there is a gas grill, picnic table, lawn chairs and a wooden swing round other exterior amenities.

If your looking for a very secluded private location this is it, beautiful home with everything we needed as we traveled to visit the sand dunes, this cabin is on a seasonal road so if your hauling a trailer 4x4 is required to make things easier. Very remote & very close to everything, it was perfect and we will be back again!

Great cabin/cottage in the woods. The 2 bed 1.5 bath was cozy with nice living room/dining area for food, relaxing and hanging out. Nice firepit area with chairs and grill for enjoying your evenings. Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the dunes park and 5 minutes from one of the main grocery stores in the area.Heads up if you are bringing equipment to play on the dunes, the road to the house is unmaintained. It's not terrible but it is sand dirt mixture. We pulled a 24ft enclosed trailer with 2 side by sides and could not make it into the parking area with just 2-wheel drive. We could have done it if we had 4-wheel drive on our truck.

Fantastic location. Beautiful home. The Host was very nice and communicative.I've been to Silver Lake many times and I've stayed at many locations, this is one of our favorites!

Property was advertised as a two bathroom. It was one and a half which when I reread the listing after we got there in another spot, it did say one and a half, which was an upsetting when that’s what I look for is two bathrooms with four adults going one shower for four adults is not ideal. When you are approaching the property, you see a sign that says that the road is only cleaned seasonally it is sand. Glad we had our 4 x 4 truck. I felt like the property had not been cleaned properly. There was a pair of sandals left food in the freezer and the refrigerator could’ve been wiped out better. When you pay a cleaning fee on top of the rental, you expect the property to be clean. When we went to take our showers, there were only two washcloths provided. There was laundry still in the dryer, which is where we found more towels. The owner did provide a 50 credit when this was advised to them; however otherwise it was a nice property.
